DUA FOR STRENGTH

 

 

To You, our Lord, we complain of their weakness, lack of support and the humiliation they are made to receive.

 

Most Compassionate and Merciful You are!

You are the Lord of the weak,

and you are our Lord.

 

To whom do You leave them to?

To an ummah who turned away from them with hostility & disgrace?

Or to an enemy You have given power over them?

As long as You are not displeased with them,
they remain faithful and do not care what they face.

We would, however, be much happier with Your mercy.

We seek refuge in the light of Your Face by  which all darkness is dispelled and both this life and the life to come are put in their right course.

 

We seek refuge against incurring Your wrath
or being the subject of Your anger.

To You we submit, until we earn Your pleasure.
Everything is powerless without Your support.

اللهم إنا نشكو إليك ضعف قوَّتهم

وقلَّة حِيلتهم وهوانهم على الناس

اللهم أنت ربُّ المستضعفين وأنت ربنا، لا إله إلا أنت إلى من تكِلهم إلى قريبٍ يتجهمهم أم إلى عدوٍ ملكته أمرهم

إن لم يكن بك سخطٌ علينا

فلا نبالي

غير أن عافيتك هي أوسع لنا

نعوذ بنور وجهك الذي أضاءت له السموات و الأرض

وأشرقت له الظلمات وصلح عليه أمر الدنيا والأخرة

أن ينزل بهم غضبك أو يحل عليهم سخطك

لك العتبى حتى ترضى ولاحول ولاقوة إلابك
