*🎀Pause and Reflect: Life Lessons from the Qur’an🎀*
*Are you one of the (“Those who deal unfairly in measure and weight.”)?*
*وَيْلٌ لِلْمُطَفِّفِينَ*
*Woe to those who give less [than due]*
*الَّذِينَ إِذَا اكْتَالُوا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ*
*Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full*
*وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَوْ وَزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ*
*But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss*
★ _The only thing that comes to mind when we recite these ayaats is the business man, the shopkeeper and the butcher who deals with the scales_
📍 _Don't you think the spouse who demands more from his/ her spouse but gives back less falls under the aaya?_
📍 _The teacher or the worker who expects salary intact and on time but doesn't care when he comes in and leaves the workplace? Sometimes not even doing their job well?_
📍 _The person who complains when friends and relatives do not check upon but totally forgets to even get in touch with them?_
📍 _The Muslim who expects Allah to answer all his dua but he's negligent when it comes to fulfilling Allah's rights over him?_
