BE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR DEEDS... RATHER THAN CURSING OTHERS *

 

_Allah will not ask us about what the people did at the time of the Umayyads or others._

 

Allah says :

 

 تِلۡكَ أُمَّةࣱ قَدۡ خَلَتۡۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبۡتُمۡۖ وَلَا تُسۡـَٔلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ 

 

[Surah Al-Baqarah: 134]

 

*{That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned.*

 

*And you will not be asked about what they used to do.}  [Quran 2:134]*

 

★ Abu Bakr Al-Jazaa’iri said in Aysar At-Tafaaseer,

 

_“On the Day of Resurrection, you will not be asked about the deeds of others, but you will be asked about your own deeds and will be rewarded according to them (your deeds);_

 

_so avoid argumentation and do whatever will benefit you in your Hereafter, which is the correct faith and righteous deeds.”_

قصيدة :خيمة أم معبد الخزاعية حينما مر بها الرسول وصاحبه يوم الهجرة

Poem of Umm Ma’bad ,Aatika Bint Khalid

 

When the Messenger of Allah (saw) was granted permission to migrate (the Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah. He was accompanied by his companions Abu Bakr (RA) and his freed slave ’Amar ibn Fuhairah (RA) alongside their guide, ’Abdullah ibn Uraiqit (who was a polytheist).

 

During their migration they rested at a camp in Qudaid at a time of drought. They requested some food and drink from Umm Ma‘bad but there was unfortunately nothing to offer them. The Prophet (saw) noticed a solitary and weak goat, which he requested Umm Ma‘bad to milk.

 

Miraculously the milk started gushing milk at the blessed hand of the Prophet (saw) and they all drank and the Prophet (saw) left plenty of milk for Umm Ma‘bad and her family.

 

When her husband, Aktham ibn Abu Al-Jawn Al-Khuza‘i returned from herding his sheep he saw all the milk. He asked his wife where this had come from and she explained a ‘blessed man’ had passed by us. He asked her to describe him (saw) and what follows is Umm Ma‘bad’s incredible description of the Messenger of Allah (saw).

 

حديث أم معبد الْخُزَاعِيَّة اسْمهَا عَاتِكَة بنت خليف وَيُقَال خَالِد

 

ظاهر الوضاءة،  أبلج الوجه،  حسن الخلق،  لم تعبه ثُجْلة،  ولم تزر به صعلة،  وسيم ,  قسيم،  في عينيه دعج،  وفي أشفاره وَطَف،  وفي صوته صحل،  وفي عنقه سطع،  أحور،  أكحل،  أزج،  أقرن،  شديد سواد الشعر، إذا صمت علاه الوقار،  وإن تكلم علاه البهاء،  أجل الناس وأبهاهم من بعيد،  وأحسنه وأحلاه من قريب،  حلو المنطق،  فضل،  لا نزر،  ولا هذر، كأن منطقه خرزات نُظم يتحدرن،  رِبعة، لا تقحمه عين من قصر،  ولا تشنؤه من طول،  غُصن بين غصنين،  فهو أنظر الثلاثة منظرا وأحسنهم قدرا،  وله رفقاء يحفون به،  إذا قال استمعوا لقوله،  وإذا أمر تبادروا إلى أمره، محفود

محشود , لاعابس ولا منفد

 

On the authority of Umm Ma‘bad ‘Aatika bint khuwailid al-Khuza‘iyyah (ra) who said:

 

’I saw a man of visible radiance and purity, beautiful appearance, bright faced, with neither protruding ribs nor a small head, handsome and fair. His eyes were deep black and large, and his eyelashes were lush. His voice was mellow and soft. The whiteness of his eyes was bright and his pupils were very black. His eyebrows were beautifully arched and connected. His neck was long, his beard densely full. When he was silent, he appeared dignified. When he spoke, he was eminent and crowned with magnificence. His speech was sweet, his words precise, neither too little nor too much. Like a string of pearls flowing down gradually.

 

He was the most striking and beautiful of people when seen from afar and the fairest of them when seen up close. He was medium height, neither unagreeably tall nor scornfully short; a branch between two branches. Among the three he was the most radiant in appearance, the finest of them in stature. He was surrounded by companions. When he spoke, they listened attentively. When he gave orders, they hastened to fulfil them. Honoured, served and surrounded by followers. He neither frowned, nor criticised’.

1.

{ كِرَامࣰا كَـٰتِبِینَ (11) یَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ (12) }

 

[Surah Al-Infiṭār: 11-12]

 

Noble and recording;

They know whatever you do.

2.

 

 إِذۡ یَتَلَقَّى ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّیَانِ عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِیدࣱ (17) مَّا یَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَیۡهِ رَقِیبٌ عَتِیدࣱ (18) 

 

[Surah Qāf: 17-18]

 

When the two receivers [i.e., recording angels] receive, seated on the right and on the left.
He [i.e., man] utters no word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].

3.

 

 وَكُلَّ إِنسَـٰنٍ أَلۡزَمۡنَـٰهُ طَـٰۤىِٕرَهُۥ فِی عُنُقِهِۦۖ وَنُخۡرِجُ لَهُۥ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ كِتَـٰبࣰا یَلۡقَىٰهُ مَنشُورًا (13) ٱقۡرَأۡ كِتَـٰبَكَ كَفَىٰ بِنَفۡسِكَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ عَلَیۡكَ حَسِیبࣰا (14) 

 

[Surah Al-Isrāʾ: 13-14]

 

And [for] every person We have imposed his fate upon his neck, and We will produce for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open.

[It will be said], Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant.

4.

 

 وَوُضِعَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبُ فَتَرَى ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ مُشۡفِقِینَ مِمَّا فِیهِ وَیَقُولُونَ یَـٰوَیۡلَتَنَا مَالِ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ لَا یُغَادِرُ صَغِیرَةࣰ وَلَا كَبِیرَةً إِلَّاۤ أَحۡصَىٰهَاۚ وَوَجَدُوا۟ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ حَاضِرࣰاۗ وَلَا یَظۡلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدࣰا 

 

[Surah Al-Kahf: 49]

 

And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, Oh, woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it? And they will find what they did present [before them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one.

5.

 

أَمۡ یَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسۡمَعُ سِرَّهُمۡ وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَیۡهِمۡ یَكۡتُبُونَ 

 

[Surah Az-Zukhruf: 80]

 

Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers [i.e., angels] are with them recording.

6.

 

 وَنَضَعُ ٱلۡمَوَ ٰ⁠زِینَ ٱلۡقِسۡطَ لِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ فَلَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسࣱ شَیۡـࣰٔاۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّةࣲ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلٍ أَتَیۡنَا بِهَاۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَـٰسِبِینَ 

 

[Surah Al-Anbiyāʾ: 47]

 

And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.

7.

{ یَوۡمَ تُبۡلَى ٱلسَّرَاۤىِٕرُ }

 

[Surah Aṭ-Ṭāriq: 9]

 

The Day when secrets will be put on trial,

8.

 

 یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ تُعۡرَضُونَ لَا تَخۡفَىٰ مِنكُمۡ خَافِیَةࣱ 

 

[Surah Al-Ḥāqqah: 18]

 

That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed

9.

 

{ وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِی ٱلصُّدُورِ }

 

[Surah Al-ʿĀdiyāt: 10]

 

And that within the breasts is obtained

10.

 

{ عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ }

 

[Surah Al-Infiṭār: 5]

 

A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.

11.

 

{ عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّاۤ أَحۡضَرَتۡ }

 

[Surah At-Takwīr: 14]

 

A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].

12.

 

 یُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ یَوۡمَىِٕذِۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ (13) بَلِ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ بَصِیرَةࣱ (14)

 

[Surah Al-Qiyāmah: 13-14]

 

Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.

Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,

13.

 

 یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلۡتَنظُرۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ لِغَدࣲۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

 

[Surah Al-Ḥashr: 18]

 

O you who have believed, fear Allāh. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is Aware of what you do.

14.

 

 یَـٰبُنَیَّ إِنَّهَاۤ إِن تَكُ مِثۡقَالَ حَبَّةࣲ مِّنۡ خَرۡدَلࣲ فَتَكُن فِی صَخۡرَةٍ أَوۡ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ أَوۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ یَأۡتِ بِهَا ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِیفٌ خَبِیرࣱ 

 

[Surah Luqmān: 16]

 

And Luqmān said], O my son, indeed if it [i.e., a wrong] should be the weight of a mustard seed and should be within a rock or [anywhere] in the heavens or in the earth, Allāh will bring it forth. Indeed, Allāh is Subtle and Aware.

15.

 

 فَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَیۡرࣰا یَرَهُۥ (7) وَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةࣲ شَرࣰّا یَرَهُۥ (8) 

 

[Surah Az-Zalzalah: 7-8]

 

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it .

16.

 

 یَوۡمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ مِنۡ خَیۡرࣲ مُّحۡضَرࣰا وَمَا عَمِلَتۡ مِن سُوۤءࣲ تَوَدُّ لَوۡ أَنَّ بَیۡنَهَا وَبَیۡنَهُۥۤ أَمَدَۢا بَعِیدࣰاۗ وَیُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسَهُۥۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ 

 

[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 30]

 

The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allāh warns you of Himself, and Allāh is Kind to [His] servants.

17.

 

 وَمَا مِن دَاۤبَّةࣲ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا طَـٰۤىِٕرࣲ یَطِیرُ بِجَنَاحَیۡهِ إِلَّاۤ أُمَمٌ أَمۡثَالُكُمۚ مَّا فَرَّطۡنَا فِی ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ یُحۡشَرُونَ 

 

[Surah Al-Anʿām: 38]

 

And there is no creature on [or within] the earth or bird that flies with its wings except [that they are] communities like you. We have not neglected in the Register a thing. Then unto their Lord they will be gathered.

18 .

 حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا مَا جَاۤءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ وَأَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ وَجُلُودُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ 

 وَقَالُوا۟ لِجُلُودِهِمۡ لِمَ شَهِدتُّمۡ عَلَیۡنَاۖ قَالُوۤا۟ أَنطَقَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنطَقَ كُلَّ شَیۡءࣲۚ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةࣲ وَإِلَیۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ 

 

[Surah Fuṣṣilat: 20-21]

 

Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do.

And they will say to their skins, why have you testified against us? They will say, we were made to speak by Allāh, who has made everything speak; and He created you the first time, and to Him you are returned.

19 .

 ٱلۡیَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰۤ أَفۡوَ ٰ⁠هِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَاۤ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ

 

[Surah Yā-Sīn: 65]

 

That Day, we will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.

20 .

 

 وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَیۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۚ إِنَّ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡبَصَرَ وَٱلۡفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ كَانَ عَنۡهُ مَسۡـُٔولࣰا 

 

[Surah Al-Isrāʾ: 36]

 

And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.

 

21 .

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ 

 

يس Yaseen :12

 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register

 

22 .

وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَابًا 

 

النبإ An-Naba :29

 

78:29 But all things We have enumerated in writing.

Surah nuur verse 54

 

Tafseer ibn katheer (R.A)

 

 
وَقَالَ وَهْبُ بْنُ مُنَبِّه: أَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى نَبِيٌّ مِنْ أَنْبِيَاءِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ - يُقَالُ لَهُ: شِعِيَاءُ -أَنْ قُمْ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَإِنِّي سَأُطْلِقُ لِسَانَكَ بِوَحْيٍ. فَقَامَ فَقَالَ: يَا سَمَاءُ اسْمَعِي، وَيَا أَرْضُ انْصِتِي، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَقْضِيَ شَأْنًا وَيُدَبِّرَ أَمْرًا هُوَ مُنَفِّذُهُ، إِنَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ الرِّيفَ إِلَى الْفَلَاةِ ، وَالْآجَامَ فِي الْغِيطَانِ ، وَالْأَنْهَارَ فِي الصَّحَارِي ، وَالنِّعْمَةَ فِي الْفُقَرَاءِ ، وَالْمُلْكَ فِي الرُّعَاةِ ، وَيُرِيدُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ أُمِّيًّا مِنَ الْأُمِّيِّينَ ، لَيْسَ بِفَظٍّ وَلَا غَلِيظٍ وَلَا سَخّاب فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ، لَوْ يَمُرُّ إِلَى جَنْبِ السِّرَاجِ لَمْ يُطْفِئْهُ مِنْ سَكِينَتِهِ ، وَلَوْ يَمْشِي عَلَى الْقَصَبِ الْيَابِسِ لَمْ يُسْمَعْ مِنْ تَحْتِ قَدَمَيْهِ . أَبْعَثُهُ مُبَشِّرا ونذيرًا ، لا يقول الخنَا ، أَفْتَحُ بِهِ أَعْيُنًا عُمْيًا ، وَآذَانًا صُمًّا ، وَقُلُوبًا غُلْفًا ، وأسَدِّده لِكُلِّ أَمْرٍ جَمِيلٍ  وَأَهَبُ لَهُ كُلَّ خُلُقٍ كَرِيمٍ ، وَأَجْعَلُ السَّكِينَةَ لِبَاسَهُ ، وَالْبِرَّ شِعَارَهُ ، وَالتَّقْوَى ضَمِيرَهُ ، وَالْحِكْمَةَ مَنْطِقَهُ ، وَالصِّدْقَ وَالْوَفَاءَ طَبِيعَتَهُ ، وَالْعَفْوَ وَالْمَعْرُوفَ خُلُقَهُ ، وَالْحَقَّ شَرِيعَتَهُ ، وَالْعَدْلَ سِيرَتَهُ ، وَالْهُدَى إِمَامَهُ ، وَالْإِسْلَامَ مِلَّتَهُ ، وَأَحْمَدَ اسْمَهُ ، أهْدِي بِهِ بَعْدَ الضَّلَالَةِ ، وأعلِّم بِهِ مِنَ الْجَهَالَةِ ، وأرْفَعُ بِهِ بَعْدَ الخمَالة ، وَأُعْرَفُ بِهِ بَعْدَ النُّكْرَة ، وَأُكْثِّرُ بِهِ بَعْدَ الْقِلَّةِ وَأُغْنِي بِهِ بَعْدَ العَيلَة ، وَأَجْمَعُ بِهِ بَعْدَ الْفُرْقَةِ ، وَأُؤَلِّفُ بِهِ بَيْنَ أُمَمٍ مُتَفَرِّقَةٍ ، وَقُلُوبٍ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ ، وَأَهْوَاءٍ مُتَشَتَّتَةٍ ، وَأَسْتَنْقِذُ بِهِ فِئَامًا مِنَ النَّاسِ عَظِيمًا مِنَ الهَلَكة ، وَأَجْعَلُ أُمَّتَهُ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ ، يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ، وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ، مُوَحِّدِينَ مُؤْمِنِينَ مُخْلِصِينَ ، مُصَدِّقِينَ بِمَا جَاءَتْ بِهِ رُسُلي.  رَوَاهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ

القصيدة تحكي مصير كل إنسان عند موته ودفنه حشره ووقوفه بين يد الله

ومحاسبته ومآله.. إلى الجنة ..أم إلى النار

ليسَ الغَريبُ غَريبَ الشَّأمِ واليَمَنِ  ***  إِنَّ الغَريبَ غَريبُ اللَّحدِ والكَفَنِ

 

إِنَّ الغَريِبَ لَهُ حَقُّ لِغُربَتـِهِ  ***  على المُقيمينَ في الأَوطــانِ والسَّكَنِ

 

سَفَري بَعيدٌ وَزادي لَن يُبَلِّغَنـي  ***  وَقُوَّتي ضَعُفَت والمـوتُ يَطلُبُنـي

 

وَلي بَقايــا ذُنوبٍ, لَستُ أَعلَمُها  ***  الله يَعلَمُهــا في السِّرِ والعَلَنِ

 

مـَا أَحلَمَ اللهَ عَني حَيثُ أَمهَلَني  ***  وقَد تَمـادَيتُ في ذَنبي ويَستُرُنِي

 

تَمُرٌّ سـاعـاتُ أَيّـَامي بِلا نَدَمٍ,  ***  ولا بُكاءٍ,  وَلا خَـوفٍ,  ولا حـَزَنِ

 

أَنَـا الَّذِي أُغلِقُ الأَبوابَ مُجتَهِداً  ***  عَلى المعاصِي وَعَينُ اللهِ تَنظُرُنـي

 

يَـا زَلَّةً كُتِبَت في غَفلَةٍ, ذَهَبَت   ***   يَـا حَسرَةً بَقِيَت في القَلبِ تُحرِقُني

 

دَعني أَنُوحُ عَلى نَفسي وَأَندِبُـهـا  ***  وَأَقطَعُ الدَّهرَ بِالتَّذكِيـرِ وَالحَزَنِ

 

كَأَنَّني بَينَ تلك الأَهلِ مُنطَرِحــَاً  ***  عَلى الفِراشِ وَأَيديهِم تُقَلِّبُنــي

 

وَقد أَتَوا بِطَبيبٍ, كَـي يُعالِجَنـي  ***  وَلَم أَرَ الطِّبَّ هـذا اليـومَ يَنفَعُني

 

واشَتد نَزعِي وَصَار المَوتُ يَجذِبُـها  ***  مِن كُلِّ عِرقٍ, بِلا رِفقٍ, ولا هَوَنِ

 

واستَخرَجَ الرٌّوحَ مِني في تَغَرغُرِها  ***  وصـَارَ رِيقي مَريراً حِينَ غَرغَرَني

 

وَغَمَّضُوني وَراحَ الكُلٌّ وانصَرَفوا  ***  بَعدَ الإِياسِ وَجَدٌّوا في شِرَا الكَفَنِ

 

وَقـامَ مَن كانَ حِبَّ النّاسِ في عَجَلٍ ,  ** *  نَحوَ المُغَسِّلِ يَأتينـي يُغَسِّلُنــي

 

وَقــالَ يـا قَومِ نَبغِي غاسِلاً حَذِقاً  ***  حُراً أَرِيباً لَبِيبـاً عَارِفـاً فَطِنِ

 

فَجــاءَني رَجُلٌ مِنهُم فَجَرَّدَني  ***  مِنَ الثِّيــابِ وَأَعرَاني وأَفرَدَني

 

وَأَودَعوني عَلى الأَلواحِ مُنطَرِحـاً  ***  وَصـَارَ فَوقي خَرِيرُ الماءِ يَنظِفُني

 

وَأَسكَبَ الماءَ مِن فَوقي وَغَسَّلَني  ***  غُسلاً ثَلاثاً وَنَادَى القَومَ بِالكَفَنِ

 

وَأَلبَسُوني ثِيابـاً لا كِمامَ لهـا  ***  وَصارَ زَادي حَنُوطِي حيـنَ حَنَّطَني

 

وأَخرَجوني مِنَ الدٌّنيـا فَوا أَسَفاً *** عَلى رَحِيـلٍ, بِلا زادٍ, يُبَلِّغُنـي

 

وَحَمَّلوني على الأكتـافِ أَربَعَةٌ *** مِنَ الرِّجـالِ وَخَلفِي مَن يُشَيِّعُني

 

وَقَدَّموني إِلى المحرابِ وانصَرَفوا  ***  خَلفَ الإِمـَامِ فَصَلَّى ثـمّ وَدَّعَني

 

صَلَّوا عَلَيَّ صَلاةً لا رُكوعَ لهـا  ***  ولا سُجـودَ لَعَلَّ اللـهَ يَرحَمُني

 

وَأَنزَلوني إلـى قَبري على مَهَلٍ ,  ***  وَقَدَّمُوا واحِداً مِنهـم يُلَحِّدُنـي

 

وَكَشَّفَ الثّوبَ عَن وَجهي لِيَنظُرَني  ***  وَأَسكَبَ الدَّمعَ مِن عَينيهِ أَغرَقَني

 

فَقامَ مُحتَرِمــاً بِالعَزمِ مُشتَمِلاً  ***  وَصَفَّفَ اللَّبِنَ مِن فَوقِي وفـارَقَني

 

وقَالَ هُلٌّوا عليه التٌّربَ واغتَنِموا *** حُسنَ الثَّوابِ مِنَ الرَّحمنِ ذِي المِنَنِ

 

في ظُلمَةِ القبرِ لا أُمُّ هنــاك ولا  ***  أَبٌ شَفـيقٌ ولا أَخٌ يُؤَنِّسُنــي

 

فَرِيدٌ وَحِيدُ القبرِ، يــا أَسَفـاً  ***  عَلى الفِراقِ بِلا عَمَلٍ, يُزَوِّدُنـي

 

وَهالَني صُورَةً في العينِ إِذ نَظَرَت *** مِن هَولِ مَطلَعِ ما قَد كان أَدهَشَني

 

مِن مُنكَرٍ, ونكيرٍ, مـا أَقولُ لهم  ***  قَد هــَالَني أَمرُهُم جِداً فَأَفزَعَني

 

وَأَقعَدوني وَجَدٌّوا في سُؤالِهـِمُ  ***  مَـالِي سِوَاكَ إِلهـي مَن يُخَلِّصُنِي

 

فَامنُن عَلَيَّ بِعَفوٍ, مِنك يــا أَمَلي *** فَإِنَّني مُوثَقٌ بِالذَّنبِ مُرتَهــَنِ

 

تَقاسمَ الأهلُ مالي بعدما انصَرَفُوا  ***  وَصَارَ وِزرِي عَلى ظَهرِي فَأَثقَلَني

 

واستَبدَلَت زَوجَتي بَعلاً لهـا بَدَلي  ***  وَحَكَّمَتهُ فِي الأَموَالِ والسَّكَـنِ

 

وَصَيَّرَت وَلَدي عَبداً لِيَخدُمَهــا  ***  وَصَارَ مَـالي لهم حـِلاً بِلا ثَمَنِ

 

فَلا تَغُرَّنَّكَ الدٌّنيــا وَزِينَتُها  ***  وانظُر إلى فِعلِهــا في الأَهلِ والوَطَنِ

 

وانظُر إِلى مَن حَوَى الدٌّنيا بِأَجمَعِها  ***   هَل رَاحَ مِنها بِغَيرِ الحَنطِ والكَفَنِ

 

خُذِ القَنـَاعَةَ مِن دُنيَاك وارضَ بِها  ***  لَو لم يَكُن لَكَ إِلا رَاحَةُ البَدَنِ

 

يَـا زَارِعَ الخَيرِ تحصُد بَعدَهُ ثَمَراً  ***  يَا زَارِعَ الشَّرِّ مَوقُوفٌ عَلَى الوَهَنِ

 

يـَا نَفسُ كُفِّي عَنِ العِصيانِ واكتَسِبِي  ***  فِعلاً جميلاً لَعَلَّ اللهَ يَرحَمُني

 

يَا نَفسُ وَيحَكِ تُوبي واعمَلِي حَسَناً  ***  عَسى تُجازَينَ بَعدَ الموتِ بِالحَسَنِ

 

ثمَّ الصلاةُ على المُختـارِ سَيِّدِنـا  ***  مَا وَصَّـا البَرقَ في شَّامٍ, وفي يَمَنِ

 

والحمدُ لله مُمسِينَـا وَمُصبِحِنَا  ***  بِالخَيرِ والعَفو والإِحســانِ وَالمِنَنِ

أسماء يوم القيامة

 

يوم القيامة . 1

 

{ لَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ }

 

[Surah Al-Qiyâmah: 1]

 

I swear by the Day of Resurrection

2 يوم الآخرة 

 

{ وَٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِمَاۤ أُنزِلَ إِلَیۡكَ وَمَاۤ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ وَبِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمۡ یُوقِنُونَ }

 

[Surah Al-Baqarah: 4]

 

And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

يوم الآزفة. 

3

 

وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡـَٔازِفَةِ إِذِ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ لَدَى ٱلۡحَنَاجِرِ كَـٰظِمِینَۚ مَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِینَ مِنۡ حَمِیمࣲ وَلَا شَفِیعࣲ یُطَاعُ 

 

[Surah Ghâfir: 18]

 

And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Approaching Day, when hearts are at the throats, filled [with distress]. For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed.

4. يوم البعث

 

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَٱلۡإِیمَـٰنَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِی كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡبَعۡثِۖ فَهَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ 

 

[Surah Ar-Rûm: 56]

 

But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, "You remained the extent of Allah 's decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know."

5. يوم الفصل

 

{ هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِی كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ }

 

[Surah As-Sâffât: 21]

 

[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."

6. يوم المشهور

 

إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَةࣰ لِّمَنۡ خَافَ عَذَابَ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَوۡمࣱ مَّجۡمُوعࣱ لَّهُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَوۡمࣱ مَّشۡهُودࣱ 

 

[Surah Hûd: 103]

 

Indeed in that is a sign for those who fear the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day for which the people will be collected, and that is a Day [which will be] witnessed.

7. يوم التناد

 

{ وَیَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ عَلَیۡكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلتَّنَادِ }

 

[Surah Ghâfir: 32]

 

And O my people, indeed I fear for you the Day of Calling –

8. يوم الجمع

 

وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِیࣰّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡجَمۡعِ لَا رَیۡبَ فِیهِۚ فَرِیقࣱ فِی ٱلۡجَنَّةِ وَفَرِیقࣱ فِی ٱلسَّعِیرِ 

 

[Surah Ash-Shûrâ: 7]

 

And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze.

9. يوم التغابن

 

 یَوۡمَ یَجۡمَعُكُمۡ لِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡجَمۡعِۖ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِۗ وَمَن یُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَیَعۡمَلۡ صَـٰلِحࣰا یُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَیِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَیُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ 

 

[Surah At-Taghâbun: 9]

 

The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

10. يوم الحساب

 

{ هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ }

 

[Surah Sâd: 53]

 

This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account.

11. يوم الدين

 

{ مَـٰلِكِ یَوۡمِ ٱلدِّینِ }

 

[Surah Al-Fâtihah: 4]

 

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

 

{ وَقَالُوا۟ یَـٰوَیۡلَنَا هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلدِّینِ }

 

[Surah As-Sâffât: 20]

 

They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."

13. يوم يقوم الأشهاد

 

{ إِنَّا لَنَنصُرُ رُسُلَنَا وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَیَوۡمَ یَقُومُ ٱلۡأَشۡهَـٰدُ }

 

[Surah Ghâfir: 51]

 

Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand

14. يوم الحسرة

 

{ وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَسۡرَةِ إِذۡ قُضِیَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَهُمۡ فِی غَفۡلَةࣲ وَهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ }

 

[Surah Maryam: 39]

 

And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.

15.  يوم الخروج

 

{ یَوۡمَ یَسۡمَعُونَ ٱلصَّیۡحَةَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُرُوجِ }

 

[Surah Qâf: 42]

 

The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth. That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves].

16.  النبأ العظيم

 

{ عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِیمِ }

 

[Surah An-Naba’: 2]

 

About the great news

17.  الغاشية

 

{ هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِیثُ ٱلۡغَـٰشِیَةِ }

 

[Surah Al-Ghâshiyah: 1]

 

Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event] ?

18.  الحاقّة

 

{ ٱلۡحَاۤقَّةُ }

 

[Surah Al-Hâqqah: 1]

 

The Inevitable Reality –

19. الطامّة الكبرى

 

{ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَتِ ٱلطَّاۤمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ }

 

[Surah An-Nâzi`ât: 34]

 

But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity –

20.  الصاخّة

 

{ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَتِ ٱلصَّاۤخَّةُ }

 

[Surah `Abasa: 33]

 

But when there comes the Deafening Blast

21.  الفارغة

 

{ ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ }

 

[Surah Al-Qâri`ah: 1]

 

The Striking Calamity

22.  الواقعة

 

{ إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ (1) لَیۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ (2) }

 

[Surah Al-Wâqi`ah: 1-2]

 

When the Occurrence occurs,
There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

23.  الجاثية

 

 وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةࣲ جَاثِیَةࣰۚ كُلُّ أُمَّةࣲ تُدۡعَىٰۤ إِلَىٰ كِتَـٰبِهَا ٱلۡیَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

 

[Surah Al-Jâthiyah: 28]

 

And you will see every nation kneeling [from fear]. Every nation will be called to its record [and told], "Today you will be recompensed for what you used to do

24.  الساعة

 

قَدۡ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَاۤءِ ٱللَّهِۖ حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا جَاۤءَتۡهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةࣰ قَالُوا۟ یَـٰحَسۡرَتَنَا عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطۡنَا فِیهَا وَهُمۡ یَحۡمِلُونَ أَوۡزَارَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِمۡۚ أَلَا سَاۤءَ مَا یَزِرُونَ 

 

[Surah Al-An`âm: 31]

 

Those will have lost who deny the meeting with Allah, until when the Hour [of resurrection] comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Oh, [how great is] our regret over what we neglected concerning it," while they bear their burdens on their backs. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

25.  يوم التلاق

 

رَفِیعُ ٱلدَّرَجَـٰتِ ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ یُلۡقِی ٱلرُّوحَ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ لِیُنذِرَ یَوۡمَ ٱلتَّلَاقِ 

 

[Surah Ghâfir: 15]

 

He is] the Exalted above [all] degrees, Owner of the Throne; He places the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants to warn of the Day of Meeting.

26.  يوم الوعيد

 

{ وَنُفِخَ فِی ٱلصُّورِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡوَعِیدِ }

 

[Surah Qâf: 20]

 

And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat.

27.  يوم الخلود

 

{ ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمࣲۖ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُلُودِ }

 

[Surah Qâf: 34]

 

Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity."

28.  يوم الآخر

 

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه : أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال 

 من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ، فليقل خيرا أو ليصمت ، ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ، فليكرم جاره ، ومن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ، فليكرم ضيفه . رواه البخاري ومسلم 

 

Narrated Abu Huraira:

 

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should not hurt his neighbor and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should speak what is good or keep silent."
