*THINGS THAT CAUSES REGRET AT OLD AGE*

wp-1472247928869.gif

*THINGS THAT CAUSES REGRET AT OLD AGE*

When younger we make various choice's without the future in mind. Sometimes those choices bite us in our mid-life. These are some of the things one might regret when they're older.

* Marrying The Wrong Person *

When you're young, check your motives for marrying. Don't marry to copy your peers, or for social standing or out of pressure. Marry for love and companionship, marry the right person, marry your best friend. For if you marry the wrong person or for the wrong reasons, you will have to put up with that person the rest of your life. Things might get worse between you two; then depression, physical abuse, affairs, pain, shame, court cases, bitterness will define your mid-life years all because you chose the wrong one. Things will get worse when children are involved. Make the right choice of a spouse when you are young.

* The Opportunities You Did Not Seize *

When you are younger many doors will open, you will get many chances. Many young people let these opportunities go because of fear, laziness, or pride; yet well younger and with more energy is the best time to start a venture and a name for yourself. Some think the opportunities are too big for them. Take advantage of them or one day when you're older you will want to go back and grab those missed chances.

* The Bridges You Burned *

When we are younger, we care little for relationships, what most think about is getting money and moving up the ladder of success at all cost. Many use and trample on people to progress, they take relationships for granted, messing up bonds, sleeping with people for personal gain. But these bad actions will catch up with you ahead. When you will realize how empty life is without love and friends. When you will have success but no one around you or no one to trust you.

* The Child You Aborted *

You are a young lady, you get pregnant and you are scared. You take the aborting option quickly thinking of that moment then. But when you are much older, you will look back and wish you kept that baby. When you will be rich and successful you will wish that child you gave up on would be around to enjoy the fruits of your hard work. Being a single mother doesn't mean you can't make it in life or you can't find a man in future.

* The child you Rejected *

Young man, you impregnated a woman, she told you she's pregnant with your child. You rejected her and the baby and ran. But years later when you're 50 something, you will wish you were responsible, you will wish you manned up and became a father to that child. You will see that child excel and become an adult but will have no claim to that grown child who you rejected from the beginning. You will regret being a Dead Beat Dad by choice

* The marriage you Destroyed *

So you get married to your good fiancé; the first months in marriage were good but shortly after, with your money and charm, you started having affairs. You became unfaithful. Your spouse begged you to stop, your children started hurting, your marriage was collapsing. One day when you are older, it will hit you how foolish you were to destroy the good marriage you had began to build for mere temporary thrills in affairs that did you no good. You will realize the damage you caused to your children and spouse.

* The God you Disowned *

When you are much older you become wiser, God becomes more real as you see life in a more meaningful way. But don't wait to get older to start enjoying a relationship with God. Know God when you are young, build your future with God. Don't be a young rebel who runs back to God when age catches up.

* The body you Messed Up *

You have only one body to live with all your life. The cigarettes, the alcohol you are abusing, the drugs you are taking, the unhealthy food you're consuming; all that will destroy you slowly. When you are 50 and lifestyle diseases catch up with you, you will wish you took care of your body when younger, that you exercised more; but now the damage is done.

* The Time You Wasted *

The time you are wasting when younger in worry, wrong relationships, laziness, being a couch potato, giving excuses and pursuing meaningless things; you will never get it back.

* The Dreams and Talents Uou Shelved *

Are you talented when young; are there things you love to do and you are good at them? Nurture those talents, exploit them, don't give up even if you encounter set backs, don't give up on your dreams. If you give up, when you're older you will look at your peers who stuck to what they love and made it and think to yourself, "That could have been me". Pursue a career, study a course you love. Don't waste years of your life in a field that doesn't fulfill you.

* The Name You Defamed *

When you are older, a legacy is very important, the value of your name is crucial. You will ask yourself what is your reputation, what are you leaving behind? Your legacy is a sum total of your actions since youthful days. We write our biography by how we live life everyday. When you look back your path and you see the mud you threw at your own name, the shame you attracted and the little value you have added to the world; you will regret.

* The Wealth You Threw Away *

Are you riding on good money during your productive years? Earning good money? Don't throw away that money in clubs, reckless living and wasteful shopping. Invest with that money, widen your revenue stream, make that money work for you and keep it safe to take care of you in your older years. Leave an inheritance for your loved ones so that you will never say "I wish I knew better"

* The Good Love That Got Away *

Is there that great person in your life loving you good? Don't push that person away, or else that person will walk out your life and you will never ever find someone that incredible and who connects with you all your life. It will torment you to grow older with thoughts of "What if I was still with that person?"

 * The Parents You Despised *

When younger, it is easy to show contempt to your parents; what do your parent's know? They are old-fashioned, shady and small -minded. But your parents are still your parents whether you agree with them or not, whatever their style. Don't let your parent die or age separated from you, reconcile and make up. When you get older, you will realize why your parents wanted to be close to you. The older you get, the more you see the value.

CORRECT YOUR WIFE WITHOUT HURTING HER FEELINGS

wp-1472343068072.gif

13 WAYS TO CORRECT YOUR WIFE WITHOUT HURTING HER FEELINGS

1: LOWER YOUR VOICE

Don't shout at her, she is not your child. You can correct, yes, but why shouting?

2: DO IT IN LOVE

Correction should be done in love. If done in any other way, it turns to criticism and condemnation.

3a: DON'T CRITICIZE

Stop criticizing her, rather correct in love. Most will say it's constructive criticism. But truly, It means disapproval by pointing out errors and mistakes.
Correction is the act of offering better options to mistakes

Correction and criticism are never the same

3b: HUSBAND A SAYS

What manner of food is this?

Is this popcorn or fried rice?

How I wish I marry a more sensible wife with better home training, who can cook better.

HUSBAND B SAYS

sweetheart this rice it too salty and dry unlike the one you did yesterday. I think salt should be reduce any other time because of our health.
Husband A criticized while Husband B corrected his wife in love

STOP CRITICIZING YOUR WIFE

4: PRAISE HER FOR WHAT IS RIGHT

It will be wrong to correct when it's not well done, when you don't praise when it's well done. Form the habit of praising and appreciating your wife for good deeds.

5: DON'T DO IT BEFORE YOUR CHILDREN

Avoid correcting your wife in the presence of your children. Incessant correction of your wife before your children will make them disrespect her.

6: DON'T CORRECT HER IN THE PUBLIC

Avoid correcting your wife in the public, it does not show you as a gentleman, and will affect her self-esteem.

7: AVOID CORRECTION IN ANGER

Stop correcting your wife in anger, shouting, ranting, beating and making trouble. Real men don't do that.

8: DON'T COMPARE HER WITH ANY OTHER WOMAN

In your thought of correcting her, you might have been comparing her with other women.
"Don't you see what your friend is doing?" Can't you learn from our neighbors wife?" "and so?"

9: AVOID REFERRING TO OLD ISSUES

Avoid referring to issues discussed and settled. Stick to the present issue, discuss like adults and move on.

10: DON'T ATTACK HER WOMANHOOD

"And you call yourself a woman?, Virtuous women don't behave like this, you better change before I change you!." This is very wrong, don't do it

11: DON'T ATTACK HER DIGNITY

You don't behave like someone with sense, do you think at all? And you said you went to school, I doubt it."

This is very wrong you also are not talking like someone that pass through a college.

12: DO IT IN TIME OF PEACE

Most husbands do want to correct in the heat of anger, at the height of misunderstanding, when temper has already hit the roof. That is not the best time to correct, it will yield little or no result.

13: GIVE A HELPING HAND

The best way to correct is to lead by example, step into the kitchen to give a helping hand, don't just sit in the front of the television correcting what goes on in the kitchen.
Wives are doing a great job, appreciate yours and support her to be better wife and mother.

IF YOU EXPECT YOUR WIFE TO BE AN ANGEL IN YOUR LIFE, THEN YOU SHOULD FIRST CREATE A HEAVEN FOR HER.

THE STORY OF QUEEN BILQEES

 bis sal

THE STORY OF QUEEN BILQEES

In the story of Queen Balqis and Prophet Sulayman عليه السلام you will learn that the answered duaa of a believer is far more powerful than the abilities of a giant jinn.

The story is as follows.

It is mentioned in tafseer Ibn Katheer that after Prophet Sulayman (in Jerusalem) had sent message to Queen Balqis/Sheba (in Yemen), she realised that Prophet Sulayman was not someone to be taken lightly.

She said to her Chiefs : By Allah, I knew he was more than a king, and that we have no power to match him, and that we can gain nothing by being stubborn with him. So, she sent word to him saying:

"I am coming to you with the leaders of my people to see what you will instruct us to do and what you are calling us to of your religion.'' Then she issued commands that her throne, which was made of gold and inlaid with rubies, chrysolite and pearls, should be placed in the innermost of seven rooms, one within the other, and all the doors should be locked. Then she told her deputy whom she was leaving in charge, "Take care of my people and my throne, and do not let anyone approach it or see it until I come back to you.'' Then she set off to meet Sulayman with twelve thousand of her commanders from the leaders of Yemen, under each of whose command were many thousands of men. Prophet Sulayman sent the Jinn to bring him news of her progress and route every day and night, then when she drew near, he gathered together the Jinns and humans who were under his control and said:

" O chiefs! Which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me surrendering themselves in obedience (as Muslims)?"

"An `Ifreet ( a giant jinn) from the Jinn said: I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, And verily, I am indeed strong and trustworthy for such work". Meaning, strong enough to carry it and trustworthy with the jewels it contains.

Prophet Sulayman said, "I want it faster than that.'' From this it seems that Prophet Sulayman wanted to bring this throne as a demonstration of the greatness of the power and authority that Allah had bestowed upon him and the troops that He had subjugated to him. Power such as had never been given to anyone else, before or since, so that this would furnish proof of his prophethood before Queen Balqis and her people, because this would be a great and wondrous thing, if he brought her throne as if he were in her country, before they could come to it, although it was hidden and protected by so many locked doors.

When Prophet Sulayman said, "I want it faster than that",

"One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture (this was Asif, a normal human being who was the scribe of Sulayman and it is said he was a truthful believer who knew the Greatest Name of Allah) said: I will bring it to you within the twinkling of an eye!" Meaning, lift your gaze and look as far as you can, and before you get tired and blink, you will find it before you. Then he (the scribe) got up, performed ablution and prayed to Allah, may He be Exalted.

When Sulayman and his chiefs saw it before them, "he said: "This is by the grace of my Lord...'' meaning, `this is one of the blessings which Allah has bestowed upon me.'

Here you see that the Duaa of a believer was more powerful and speedier than the natural ability of a giant Jinn who offered to bring the throne to Sulayman before he moves from his place, and how fast is that! Yes Allah has given the jinns powers that he has not given us humans, such as being able to move and travel quickly, but he gave us a power and weapon that can defeat all that. And that is our Duaas being accepted. So no one should despair.

Allah states that He brings death to His servants in their sleep at night, for sleep is minor death. Allah said in other Ayat,

(And (remember) when Allah said: ''O `Isa! I will take you and raise you to Myself...'') 3:55, and,

(It is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed.)39:42 ,thus mentioning both minor and major death. Allah says,

(It is He, Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep), and has knowledge of all that you have done by day,) meaning, He knows the deeds and actions that you perform during the day. This Ayah demonstrates Allah's perfect knowledge of His creation, by day and night, and in their movements and idleness. Allah said in other Ayah,

(It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly, whether he be hid by night or go forth freely by day.) 13:10 , and

(It is out of His mercy that He made night and day, so that you may rest therein), by night,

(And that you may seek of His bounty) by day. Allah said,

(And (We) have made the night as a covering. And (We) have made the day for livelihood.) 78:10-11.

Allah said here,

(It is He, Who takes your souls by night (when you are asleep), and has knowledge of all that you have done by day,) 6:60, Then said,

(Then he raises (wakes) you up again,) by day, according to Mujahid, Qatadah and As-Suddi. Allah's statement,

(That a term appointed be fulfilled) refers to the life span of every person,

(Then (in the end), unto Him will be your return.) on the Day of Resurrection,

(Then He will inform you of what you used to do.) He will reward you, good for good, and evil for evil. Allah's statement,

(He is the Qahir over His servants.) The Qahir means, the one who controls everything, all are subservient to His supreme grace, greatness and majesty,

(And He sends guardians over you,) angels who guard mankind. In another Ayah, Allah said,

(For each (person), there are angels in succession, before and behind him. They guard him by the command of Allah.) 13:11, watching his deeds and recording them. Allah said,

(But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you.) 82:10, and,

((Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive, one sitting on the right and one on the left. Not a word does he utter, but there is a watcher by him, ready.) 50:17-18.

Allah's statement,

(Until when death approaches one of you...) refers to, when one's life span comes to an end and he is dying,

(Our messengers take his soul...) meaning, there are angels who are responsible for this job.

Ibn `Abbas and several others said that the Angel of Death has angels who pull the soul from its body and when it reaches the throat, the Angel of Death captures it. Allah said,

(And they never neglect their duty.) They guard the soul of the dead person and take it to wherever Allah wills, to `Illiyyin if he was among the righteous, and to Sijjin if he was among the wicked (disbelievers, sinners, etc.), we seek refuge with Allah from this end. Allah said next,

(Then they are returned to Allah, their Master, the Just Lord.)

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet said,

(The angels attend the dying person. If he is a righteous person, the angels will say, `O pure soul from a pure body! Come out with honor and receive the good news of rest, satisfaction and a Lord Who is not angry.' The angels will keep saying this until the soul leaves its body, and they will then raise it up to heaven and will ask that the door be opened for the soul and it will be asked, `Who is this' It will be said, `(The soul of) so-and-so.' It will be said, `Welcome, to the pure soul that inhabited the pure body. Enter with honor and receive the good news of rest, satisfaction and a Lord Who is not angry.'

This statement will be repeated until the soul reaches the heaven above which there is Allah. If the dying person is evil, the angels will say, `Get out (of your body), O wicked soul from a wicked body! Get out in disgrace and receive the news of boiling fluid, a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold and other (torments) of similar kind - all together - to match them.' This statement will be said repeatedly until the evil soul leaves its body. The soul will be raised up to heaven and a request will be made that the door be opened for it. It will be asked, `Who is this' It will be said, `(The soul of) so and so.' It will be said, `No welcome to the wicked soul from the wicked body. Return with disgrace, for the doors of heaven will not be opened for you.' So it will be thrown from heaven until it returns to the grave. So the righteous person sits and similar is said to him as before. And the evil person sits and similar is said to him as before.) It is also possible that the meaning of,

(Then they are returned...) refers to the return of all creation to Allah on the Day of Resurrection, when He will subject them to His just decision. Allah said in other Ayah,

(Say: ''(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times. All will surely be gathered together for an appointed meeting of a known Day.'') 56:49-50 and,

(And We shall gather them all together so as to leave not one of them behind...) 18:47 until,

(And your Lord treats no one with injustice.) 18:49 Allah said here,

(Their Master, the Just Lord. Surely, His is the judgement and He is the swiftest in taking account.) 6:62

(Al-An'am :63-65)

63. Say: ''Who rescues you from the dark recesses of the land and the sea, when you call upon Him begging and in secret (saying): `If He (Allah) only saves us from these (dangers), we shall truly be grateful.'') (64. Say: ''Allah rescues you from these (dangers) and from all distress, and yet you commit Shirk.'') (65. Say: ''He has the power to send torment on you from above or from under your feet, or to Yalbisakum in party strife, and make you taste the violence of one another.'' See how variously We explain the signs, so that they may understand.)
