WHAT DELUDES MANKIND AND GENEROSITY OF ALLAH..82.6-8

wp-1472247831638.gif

* WHAT DELUDES MANKIND AND GENEROSITY OF ALLAH..82. 6-8 *

Al-Infitaar : 6

* O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, *

Al-Infitaar : 7

* Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? *

Al-Infitaar : 8

In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. *

_ After an opening which alerts one’s senses, the Surah, by means of gentle complaint coupled with an implicit threat, touches the hearts of men who busy themselves with trivialities._

What makes you neglect your duties to your Lord and behave impudently towards Him when He has raised you above all His creation and provided you the ability to distinguish between right and wrong?

_  The Surah goes on to add a few details of Allah’s generosity:_

_*  His giving man an upright stature. *_

_ Indeed, man should reflect deeply over his creation, and the fact that he has been given a physically and physiologically perfect constitution._

Reflection should prompt him to show his real love, deep respect and genuine gratitude towards Allah

The human body is composed of a number of specialized systems: the skeleton, muscular system, skin, digestive system, blood circulation, respiratory system, procreative system, lymphatic system, nervous system, the urinal system and the senses of taste, smell, hearing and sight.

Every one of these systems is miraculous and far more wonderful than any scientific achievement.

_ Yet man tends to overlook the wonders of his own constitution! _

💫 Imam Ahmad recorded that one day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spat in his palm and placed his finger on it. Then he said:

Sunan Ibn Majah 2707

_*  “Allah the Mighty and Sublime says, ‘O Son of Adam! How can you escape Me when I created you from something similar to this (spit)?  *_

_*  Then I fashioned you and made your creation balanced so that you walked between the two outer garments.  *_

_*  And the earth has a burial place for you. So you gathered (wealth) and withheld it until your soul reached your collarbone (i.e., death comes).  *_

_*  Then, at that time you say: I will give charity now. But how will there be time for charity?’”  *_

[Ibn Majah: 2707]

* “in whatever form He willed has He assembled you,” [82: 8] *

_ Mujahid said that this means, “in which resemblance: the father, the mother, the paternal uncle, or the maternal uncle.” _

THE DEEDS THAT ACCOMPANY MAN ….82.5

wp-1472247937535.gif

* The Ultimate saving...The deeds that accompany man....82.5 *

Al-Infitaar : 5

* A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. *

_The words "ma qaddamat wa akhkharat" can have several meanings and all are implied here:_

*(1)* "Ma qaddamat" is the good or evil act which man has sent forward, and "ma akhkharat" is what he refrained from doing.

_Thus, these Arabic words correspond to the acts of commission and omission in one’s life._

*(2)* "Ma qaddamat" is what one did earlier and "ma akhkharat" what one did later

_ i.e. the whole life-work of man will appear before him date-wise and in proper sequence. _

*(3)* Whatever good and evil deeds a man did in his life is "ma qaddamat" and whatever effects and influences of his acts he left behind for human society is "ma akhkharat."

▪ _ Each soul will come face to face with what it has done and what it has left behind of the consequences of its actions; or, what it has enjoyed in this present life and what it has saved for the Hereafter._

Such knowledge, however, will accompany these horrific events.

It will indeed be part of them, for it terrifies the soul no less than any of the other events.

SURAH AL-I FITAR ..82 AN OVERVIEW …

wpid-13527346822.gif

* Surah al-Infitar..82...An Overview...*

The Prophet ﷺ said:

_* “The one who wants that he should see the Resurrection Day as one would see it with one’s eyes, should read Surah at-Takweer, Surah al-Infitar and Surah al-Inshiqaq.*_

[Musnad Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi, ibn al-Mundhir, Tabarani, Hakim]

* Theme and Subject Matter *

The Surah begins with a description of the upheaval of the Day of Judgment.

The second part starts with a disapproval combined with an implicit threat to man who is the recipient of abundant grace but who shows no gratitude for it,

* “O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,” [82: 6]*

The third part provides the reason for man’s ungrateful attitude.

_* Denial of reckoning and judgment, the Surah tells us, is the source of every evil. *_

The final part gives an idea of how fearful the Day of Judgment is, how everyone is absolutely helpless and how all power belongs to Allah ﷻ

WHAT TO STRIVE FOR IN THE WORLD???..83.26-28

wp-1472247928869.gif

*WHAT TO STRIVE FOR IN THE WORLD???..83.26-28*

Al-Mutaffifin : 26

*The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete.*

Al-Mutaffifin : 27

*And its mixture is of Tasneem,*

Al-Mutaffifin : 28

*A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink.*

_The beatitude enjoyed by the righteous is discussed at length in order to give a detailed account of the hardships, humiliation and insolence they are made to suffer at the hands of the transgressors._

*Tasneem* _means height....Tasnim will be a fountain flowing down from a height. Only the chosen ones will drink from it_

‼️ _Everyone is competing for something in this world._

▪ The defrauders, hardened by their sins and excesses, strive endlessly for the petty riches of this world.

Each of them tries to outdo the others and gain as much as possible.

Hence, he indulges in all types of injustice and vice for the sake of ephemeral luxuries.

_*It is the other type of luxury and honor which deserves emulous striving – the treasures and comforts of Jannah.*_

▪ Those who strive for an object of this world, no matter how superb, grand or honorable it is..... are in reality striving for something hollow, cheap and temporary.

▪ _It is the Hereafter which carries real weight with Him_

_So, it should be the goal for strenuous competition and zealous striving._

It is remarkable that striving for the Hereafter elevates the souls of all strivers, while competition for worldly objects sinks the competitors’ souls to the lowest depths.

Striving for the hereafter does not turn the earth into a barren desert, as some imagine.

_Islam considers this world a farm, and the Hereafter its fruits_

_Islam stipulates that man must look on his task as an act of worship which fulfils the purpose of his existence_

_*The statement, “So for this let the competitors compete,” inspires man to look far beyond this finite, little world, as he sets out to fulfill his mission as Allah’s vicegerent on earth._

Man’s life on earth is limited while his future life is of limitless duration.

The luxuries of this world are also limited while the happiness of paradise is much too great for us to conceive.

_The elements of happiness in this life are well known to everyone, but in the next world they are on a level befitting a life everlasting_.

📍 It is, indeed, one race and a single competition:

*“So for this let the competitors compete,”

[83: 26].*

*💛REFLECTIONS FROM THE QUR'AN💛*

_💠Surah An-Nahl, Aayah No 90💠_*

*_ 🌺Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; He admonishes you that you may be mindful. 🌺_*

*🍀 Allah Subhanahu wa taala won't burden you more than you can bear. 🍀*

*🍁 If your situation seems harder than most, it's because He knows you're strong enough for it and He wants to make you stronger. 🍁*

*💎 So have complete Tawakkul in Allah, He will take care of you even when things look impossible!💎*

*🎀 Allah is the only reason why: *

*✨ Even in sadness, I smile.*

*✨ Even in hate, I love.*

*✨ Even in confusion, I understand.*

*✨ Even in betrayal, I trust*

*🌷 Do not let the grief in your heart keep you from seeking Allah Subhanahu wa taala. 🌷*

*🍃 This pain that you feel, is Allah's reminder that He is the Healer of all pains, and He is the Supreme Comforter. 🍃*

*💙 Speak to Allah Subhanahu wa taala, tell Him your woes, and know that your heart will be lighter in it's burden.💙*

*🌹 As a human you can’t fully understand the wisdom behind Allah’s plan, but,🌹*

*🌠 if you gain something, embrace it, 🌠*

*🌠 if you lose something, let it be, 🌠*

*🌼 You don’t know if what you love is wrong for you & what you hate is best for you, 🌼*

*🎁 Allah Subhanahu wa taala loves us more than anyone could ever love us. He won't do anything wrong with us. Everything that happens is a blessing in disguise. 🎁*

*🌿 The only way to stop any pain in your life is to accept the fact that nothing is yours, nothing was yours, and nothing will ever be yours. 🌿*

*🌻 They are worldly attachments; given by Allah, belonging to Allah and returning back to Allah..!!🌻*

*💕 So, O you who believe, Understand & Trust that Allah’s plans are better than your wishes

*💙 Allah Subhanahu wa taala is the BEST of all planners. He knows the seen and the unseen and He always guides us towards our BEST. 💙*

*✨ Sometimes when things don’t happen on our timetable, it can be tempting to get discouraged.*

*🍀 But in the season of waiting, that’s when you have to dig your heels in and refuse to give up! 🍀*

*🌷 You have to know that Allah is doing something IN you at the same time that He is doing something FOR you. 🌷*

*💘 Sadness weakens the heart of a believer, diminishes confidence and harms willpower. 💘*

*🌱 And there is nothing more beloved to the Shaytaan than the sadness of a believer. So don't let the shaytaan overtake. 🌱*

*💜 Keep moving forward. Make every sadness a means of closeness towards Allah Subhanahu wa taala and you'll see how beautifully Allah mends your heart and situations and grants you peace.💜*

The Guidance of Surah Al-Jumu'ah: Balancing Spiritual and Worldly Affairs

wp-1472247813920.gif

The Guidance of Surah Al-Jumu'ah: Balancing Spiritual and Worldly Affairs

Surah Al-Jumu'ah, the 62nd chapter of the Quran, contains valuable guidance for believers on how to conduct themselves on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday). This article aims to explore the meaning and significance of the verses in this chapter, as well as the reasons behind their revelation.

Meaning of the Verses:

The first verse addresses the believers, urging them to respond to the call for prayer on Friday and hasten towards the remembrance of Allah. It emphasizes the importance of attending the Friday congregational prayer and actively engaging in the remembrance of Allah during this time. The verse also advises believers to leave aside buying and selling, highlighting the significance of prioritizing spiritual matters over worldly affairs.

The second verse encourages the believers to disperse in the land after the prayer and seek the bounty of Allah. This implies that after fulfilling their religious obligations, Muslims should engage in lawful activities and seek sustenance from Allah's blessings. Additionally, the verse emphasizes the importance of remembering Allah abundantly, as it is through remembrance and gratitude that believers can attain success in both this world and the hereafter.

The third verse warns against being distracted by worldly pursuits such as trade or amusement when they are encountered. It advises believers to leave these distractions and turn towards Allah instead.

The verse reminds them that what is with Allah, in terms of reward and provision, is far better than worldly pursuits. This serves as a reminder to prioritize the eternal rewards and blessings promised by Allah over temporary worldly pleasures.

Reasons for Revelation:

The verses of Surah Al-Jumu'ah were revealed in the context of the early Muslim community in Medina. At that time, the Muslims were primarily engaged in agriculture and trade. The revelation of these verses provided guidance to the believers on how to balance their religious obligations with their worldly responsibilities.

The Friday congregational prayer holds great significance in Islam, as it is a time for communal worship and spiritual rejuvenation. The verse urging believers to prioritize the remembrance of Allah over buying and selling on Fridays was revealed to emphasize the importance of dedicating this day to worship and spiritual growth.

The verse encouraging believers to disperse in the land after the prayer and seek the bounty of Allah was revealed to remind the early Muslims that engaging in lawful activities and seeking sustenance is not contradictory to their religious duties. It encouraged them to actively participate in society and contribute positively while remaining mindful of Allah's remembrance.

The verse warning against being distracted by trade or amusement was revealed to address a specific incident where some Muslims left the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during a sermon to engage in trade. This verse reminded them that the pleasure and provision from Allah are far superior to worldly pursuits.

The verses of Surah Al-Jumu'ah provide valuable guidance to believers on how to balance their spiritual and worldly affairs. They emphasize the importance of attending the Friday prayer, engaging in the remembrance of Allah, seeking His bounty, and prioritizing spiritual matters over worldly pursuits. These verses were revealed to guide the early Muslim community in Medina and continue to serve as a reminder for believers today to strike a balance between their religious obligations and their responsibilities in the world.

WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE BROUGHT OUT OF GRAVES…. Al-Infitaar 82.1-4

wpid-13527346822.gif

Al-Infitaar

*WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE BROUGHT OUT OF GRAVES.... 82.1-4*

*When the sky breaks apart*

*And when the stars fall, scattering,*

*And when the seas are erupted*

*And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,*

_In the first three ayaat Allah ﷻ describes the first stage of the Resurrection._

_“the sky will break apart, the stars will fall, scattered and the seas will erupt.”_

* Then people will be brought out of their graves *

📍The word bu’thirat [بُعْثِرَتْ] means “searched"

_ As their graves are hurled about people will be resurrected to face the reckoning and receive their reward and punishment._

Upon witnessing the violent scenes narrated above they will feel insecure.

Their only hope will be in their Lord, their Creator.

Man’s heart is thus made to turn to the Only True Being to seek His support and security.

*🎀REFLECTIONS FROM THE QUR'AN🎀*

*_💎💫Surah Al-Fatiha, Aayah No 6💫💎_*

*_🎀Guide us to the straight path🎀_*

*💦🤲🏻Ya Rabbal Aalameen, please guide us all towards The path of peace, The path of righteousness, The path of steadfastness, The path of truth, The path of devotion, The path of tranquility, The path of purity, The path of goodness and The path of attaining your absolute pleasure..Aameeen🤲🏻💦*

*🎁The greatest of all the Gifts from Allah Subhanahu wa taala is HIDAYAH. He blesses those with it whom He wills.🎁*

*🌷So if Allah Subhanahu wa taala has blessed us with hidayah (guidance) what more do we want?🌷*

*❣️We will be the happiest people in Duniya and Aakhirah InShaAllah.❣️*

*💝And if not, then it's not too late. Alhamdulillah Allah Subhanahu wa taala has blessed you to witness another beautiful day, no other better time than this InShaAllah to strive in the path of Allah with sincerity, seek His forgiveness, love, grace, mercy and be blessed with the greatest of all gifts i.e Hidayah.💝*

*❤️“Amazing are the affairs of a believer! They are all for his benefit; If he is granted ease of living he is thankful; and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres; and this is best for him.”❤️*

[Muslim 2999]

*🌸Allah Subhanahu wa taala has always blessed us in every single way yet sometimes we do not realize and recognise, we only pick on certain things that our soul may be desiring and we keep on saying, “Ya Allah! You did not give me this. You did not give me that.” Change your lens. Focus on your blessings.🌸*

*🎊When you look at the favors of your Lord, they are plenty. They are innumerable. Never will you be able to thank Him completely even if it's just for your breath.🎊*

*🌺So be grateful in all circumstances and ask Allah to always guide you to the straight path with sincerity and goodness.🌺*

*💜May Allah Subhanahu wa taala bless each one of us with His greatest blessing of HIDAYAT, guide us towards the path that He loves with aafiyat, khair and barakah, move us away from the path He dislikes and always make us amongst His grateful servants..Aameeen Ya Rabbal Aalameen💜*
