" SURAH AL MAIDAH : 97 "

Regarding the Ka’bah, Allah (ﷻ) mentions in the Quran in Surah Al-Ma’idah:

 

جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْكَعْبَةَ ٱلْبَيْتَ ٱلْحَرَامَ قِيَٰمًا لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّهْرَ ٱلْحَرَامَ وَٱلْهَدْىَ وَٱلْقَلَٰٓئِدَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِتَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

 

Allah has made the Ka’bah—the Sacred House—a sanctuary of well-being for all people, along with the sacred months, the sacrificial animals, and the ˹offerings decorated with˺ garlands. All this so you may know that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and that He has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of everything.

Allah made the Ka'bah, the holy house, the staple of human life.

 

The essence of life is the basis for upholding the interests of human religion, such as prayer, hajj, and umrah.

 

And also become a support for their worldly interests with the guarantee of security and the availability of various kinds of fruits and crops from various directions.

 

And Allah has also made the forbidden months (Dhul'qadah, Dzulhijjah, Muharam, and Rajab) a staple of life for them by guaranteeing them that in those months they are safe from enemy attacks.

 

Allah made hadyu and qalā`id animals marked that the animals were herded to the forbidden land as life support for them by providing security guarantees for their owners from interference from any party.

 

The gift that Allah has given you is meant to let you know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And know that Allah is Knower of all things.

 

Because the determination of the provisions of the Shari'a - which will bring benefits to you and prevent you from harm before it happens - it shows that Allah knows what is best for His servants.

قِيٰمًا لِّلنَّاسِ

 

(As a center (worship) for humans)

 

Namely as a center for their livelihood and worship, which can improve their worldly and religious affairs.

 

In it people who are afraid will feel safe, those who are weak will get help, those who trade will make a profit, and those who worship will worship sincerely ( khusho )

 

وَالشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ

 

(And (and so) the Haram month)

 

Namely the months of Dhulqa'dah, zulhijjah, Muharram, and Rajab in which they are not allowed to demand qisas, fight enemies, and violate honor.

So with this situation it becomes the center of goodness for humans.

 

وَالْهَدْىَ وَالْقَلٰٓئِدَ ۚ

 

(And hadyu and qalaid)

 

That is, if they wrap their Hadyu animal, it will be known as a person who is performing Hajj or Umrah so that he is not disturbed by anyone, and this is an ease for their life and travel.

 

THE FRIDAY MARKET IN JANNAH

 

 

The Friday Market In Jannah

 

 

وعن أنس رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏

 "‏إن في الجنة سوقاً يأتونها كل جمعة‏.‏ فتهب ريح الشمال، فتحثوا في وجوههم وثيابهم، فيزدادون حسناً وجمالاً فيرجعون إلى أهليهم، وقد ازدادوا حسناً وجمالاً، فيقول لهم أهلوهم‏:‏ والله لقد ازددتم حسناً وجمالاً‏!‏ فيقولون‏:‏ وأنتم والله لقد ازددتم بعدنا حسناً وجمالاً‏!‏‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

 

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

 

"In Jannah there is a market to which the people will come every Friday. The northern wind will blow and shower fragrance on their faces and clothes and, consequently, it will enhance their beauty and loveliness.

 

They will then return to their wives who will also have increased in their beauty and loveliness, and their families will say to them: 'We swear by Allah that you have been increased in beauty and loveliness since leaving us.'

 

Thereupon they will reply: 'We swear by Allah that you have also been increased in beauty and loveliness since we left you."'

سيد الاستغفار ,SAYID-UL-ISTIGFAAR

 

سيد الاستغفار

 

Sayid -ul- istigfaar

وعن شداد بن أوس رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏

‏"‏سيد الإستغفار أن يقول العبد ‏:‏ اللهم أنت ربي، لا إله إلا أنت ، خلقتني وأنا عبدك، وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت أعوذ بك من شر ما صنعت أبوء لك بنعمتك علي، وأبوء بذنبي، فاغفر لي فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت

من قالها من النهار موقنا بها، فمات من يومه قبل أن يمسي، فهو من أهل الجنة، ومن قالها من الليل وهو موقن بها فمات قبل أن يصبح، فهو من أهل الجنة” ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏

 

Shaddad bin Aus (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

 

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best supplication for seeking forgiveness (Syed-ul- Istighfar) is to say:

 

'Allahumma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa abu'u bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta.

 

(O Allah! You are my Rubb. There is no true god except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).'

 

He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Jannah."

TRUE LOVE OF ALLAH SWT

 

WHAT IS LOVE❓

 

Love is when you can't sleep without having prayed Isha, love is when you can't eat without saying Bismillah first, and love is when you say Alhamdulilah remembering all that Allah has blessed you with. The true love we all long for and strive to find our entire lives can only be found with Him, learn to love and obey Him first and then you'll find someone worth loving for His sake.

 

Cause, wallahi, if you don't love Him (how can you not love Him?) there will always be something missing in your life, there will always be sadness in your life. One of the 99 names of Allah Subhanhu Wa Ta'Ala is 'Al-Wadûd', meaning 'The Loving One'.

{ وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ }

[Surah Al-Burūj: 14]

 

"And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate."

Falling in love with Allah won't break our hearts, but strengthen our imaan and make our lives complete. 💯

أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ

 

*_🍀Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.🍀_*

*✨When life is a burden and everything is unstable,*

 

*💎Remember just remember ALLAH is The Able.💎*

*✨When no one wants to listen or is willing to lend an ear, *

 

*💎Remember just remember ALLAH is always ready To Hear.💎*

 

*✨When you are poor and penniless and you are stuck in niche, *

*✨When you are down in your misery and there is no where to run,*

*✨And when your scars are hurting and your heart is in fear, 

 

*💎Remember just remember ALLAH is always Here.💎*

 

*💜Allah Subhanahu wa taala is always there for you no matter what. So turn back to Him and remember Him.💜*

*💜 Trust Him and InShaAllah He'll soon amaze you with miracles designed in your favour. 💜*

إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَيْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْنَاهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ

 

*_❤ Our word for a thing when We intend it, is only that We say to it, Be, and it is. ❤_*

 

*💕SubhanAllah...!! This is one of the most amazing verses in the Qur’an💕*

*💦We need to completely believe in Allah Subhanahu wa taala that He alone can remove all harms, protect us from all evil, change our situations, guide us out of difficulty and remove all hardships with ease and Aafiyah 💦*

 

*🌟If we completely depend on Him whole-heartedly and work towards goodness and deeds of righteousness, it increases our faith in Him. 🌟*

 

*🌍When Allah Subhanahu wa taala can create this entire universe and all of this creation; then we must become reliant upon Him and believe that He can make those things that seem impossible, possible for us in no time. 🌍*

*🌼Learn to starve your ego and feed your soul. To be amongst the achievers needs a beginning first and then InShaAllah slowly and steadily you'll achieve closeness to your Creator and find your peace🌼*

 

*❤️Build your connection with your Rabb through heartfelt duas, loads of dhikr, Salah, Charity, goood deeds and be patient. Cry out your heart to Him.. Your Rabb is Al-Mujeeb (The responsive)❤️*

 

*💚Allah Subhanahu wa taala responds to the call of the caller when He calls. He is As-Sami, Al-Basir, Ash-Shaheed, Al-Fattah and Al-Wahhab.💚*

 

*💖And Allah Subhanahu wa taala is Al-Khabeer(The Aware). He is the maker of your heart, He knows your heart, He knows what your gonna tell Him but SubhanAllah your Rabb still listens to you.💖*

 

*🌺He grants you that peace post your sincere duas, He increases you in your Tawakkul towards Him and blesses you with what's BEST for you.🌺*

 

*✨May Allah Subhanahu wa taala forgive each one of us and grant all our duas.. May He make us from amongst the "achievers" and shower His choicest blessings upon each one of us with tons of Aafiyah, Khair and Barakah..Aameeen Ya Rabbul Aalameen✨*

يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ

 

*_🍀O my son! surely if it is the very weight of the grain of a mustard-seed, even though it is in (the heart of) rock, or (high above) in the heaven or (deep down) in the earth, Allah will bring it (to light); surely Allah is Knower of subtleties, Aware;🍀_*

 

*💗Allah Subhanahu wa taala is Al-Latif (The Subtle One), Al-Khabeer (The Aware) & Ar-Raqib(The Watchful). He is the knower of the seen and unseen.💗*

 

*🔷No matter how small the act of your goodness is, Allah sees it and knows about it.🔷*

 

*🔷No matter what's going on in your heart, Allah knows it🔷*

 

*🌸Your pain, your sorrow, your fear, your anxiety, your worry, your love, your duas, Allah Subhanahu wa taala knows it ALL🌸*

 

*🌟With Allah Subhanahu wa taala the reward for Goodness is nothing but Goodness🌟*

 

*♦️ When people do Bad to you, Betray you, Mock you, Insult you, You still do Good to them for the sake of your Rabb; cause that's what pleases your Rabb ♦️*

 

*💦We hold expectations from people. But remember, Expectations from people always hurt. Don't do anything with the intention of getting a reward from the Creation💦*

 

*🌸Cause there is nothing, nothing at all that they can give us. They themselves are provided by the Creator🌸*

 

*🍀So don't try to please the Creation while disobeying the Creator🍀*

 

*🌻Allah Subhanahu wa taala is watching you 24*7 and He's well aware of everything that's in your heart🌻*

 

*🎁Do Good to others with an intention of gaining a reward from your Creator alone🎁*

 

*🌼No Best day and time than today to begin doing good and nurturing our souls with the blessings and goodness of Ar-Rahman; cause we don't know which one's our last.🌼*

 

*💠Build that connection with your Rabb and you'll see, how small the worries of duniya seem to look like and how great is the mercy and grace of Allah Subhanahu wa taala over you💠*

 

*🎊And InShaAllah He'll bless you with the BEST IN ABUNDANCE sooner than you can imagine🎊*

هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

 

*_♥️ He it is who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and He is firm in power; and then established himself above the throne. He knows that which goes deep down into the earth and that which comes forth out of it, and that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up into it, and He is with you wherever you are; and Allah sees what you do. ♥️_*

 

*🌼It may seem that your life isn't getting anywhere, *

 

*🌼Your duas are reaching a dead end, *

 

*🌼All your efforts are futile, *

 

*🌼You feel like you’re headed to nowhere, *

*🎀He is Al-Lateef to His slave, being kind, gentle, and merciful. He's the one with infinite wisdom about everything. He's your Creator and your Sustainer. 🎀*

 

*💎He’s fully aware of your situation, your deeds, what is in your heart, your thoughts, and your desires. Every single thing is known to Him. 💎*

 

*💜His infinite kindness and His complete knowledge is incomparable. It is with that which He bestows gifts and favours on us, taking us gently from one situation to another and causing us to benefit without us even knowing it.💜*

 

*💐And so when you think everything is falling apart, remember, InShaAllah Allah Subhanahu wa taala is very subtly aligning all the broken pieces to take you to a destination you've longed and prayed for.💐*

 

*💝Know that by the will of Allah Subhanahu wa taala, thing's are working out in your favour even on days when you think they aren't.💝*

AT TIMES OF ADVERSITY

 

 

WHEN A TEST COMES TO YOU!!

 

1. Know that everything is by Qadr of Allah (swt).

 

2. Remember that other people have bigger problems than you.

 

3. Remember the death of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon HIM), the greatest calamity the Ummah faced.

 

4. Maybe through this trial, Allah (swt) has saved you from an even bigger trial.

 

5. Through this trial Allah (swt) will remove some of your sins

 

6. Through this trial Allah (swt) has opened up a huge world of ibadah like sabr, salah, repentance etc...

 

7. With this trial, Allah (swt) is putting you on the path of the Prophets. It is a confirmation that Allah loves you. The more Allah (swt) loves somebody, the more he tests them."

Unbelievable facts about Mosquito:

 

The Quranic account of a mosquito which is so different from that of all other animals. It is the only animal which is mentioned with an emphatic denial that its creation could present any cause for embarrassment to its Creator. Thus declares the Quran:

 

{ ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَسۡتَحۡیِۦۤ أَن یَضۡرِبَ مَثَلࣰا مَّا بَعُوضَةࣰ فَمَا فَوۡقَهَاۚ}

 

[Surah Al-Baqarah: 26]

 

*“Allah does not feel shy (or embarrassed) at mentioning the example of a mosquito because of what is carried above it . . . ”*

 

Like in these verses, when He mentioned the names of small animals such as fly and spider, and narrated parables about them, idolaters started to object. They thought they caught the opportunity they had been looking for in order to humiliate the Quran. How could Allah tell about such small and insignificant things? How on earth could it be? Allah the Glorious replied their objections with the 26th verse of surah al-Baqarah:

 

 ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَسۡتَحۡیِۦۤ أَن یَضۡرِبَ مَثَلࣰا مَّا بَعُوضَةࣰ فَمَا فَوۡقَهَاۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ فَیَعۡلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَیَقُولُونَ مَاذَاۤ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَـٰذَا مَثَلࣰاۘ یُضِلُّ بِهِۦ كَثِیرࣰا وَیَهۡدِی بِهِۦ كَثِیرࣰاۚ وَمَا یُضِلُّ بِهِۦۤ إِلَّا ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ 

 

[Surah Al-Baqarah: 26]

 

*“Verily, Allah is not ashamed to set forth a parable even of a mosquito or so much more when it is bigger (or less when it is smaller) than it. And as for those who believe, they know that it is the Truth from their Lord, but as for those who disbelieve, they say: “What did Allah intend by this parable?” By it He misleads many, and many He guides thereby. And He misleads thereby only those who are Al-Fasiqun (the rebellious, disobedient to Allah).”*

 

An adult Female Mosquito this little creature is given as an example in the Holy Quran to show how it has an extremely complicated nature!

 

Let’s see these amazing facts about Mosquito…

 

1- It is a female.

 

2- It has one hundred eyes in its head.

 

3- It has 48 teeth in its mouth.

 

4- Inside its little body there are three complete Hearts!!..

 

5- It has six knives in its nose and each knife has its special use.

 

6- It has three wings on each side.

 

7- In the body of this insect is a digital X-RAY machine.. It uses it to distinguish the human skin in the dark in violet colour.

 

8- Its body also contains a small vaccine working as a local anesthetic to help it to insert its thorns in the human skin without any feel or pain caused by the suction of the blood.!!!

 

9- It has an instrument for blood test, because it doesn’t like all blood types…!!!

 

10- It has a special mechanism to speed up the blood flow so it can draw it faster.

 

And the most strange discovery by the Modern Science is that there is another very small Microscopic Insect living on top of this Mosquito !!!.…

 

And that’s what ALLAH means by:

 

مَّا بَعُوضَةࣰ فَمَا فَوۡقَهَاۚ

 

“For example a Mosquito and what’s above it …!!!”

THE POWER OF SAJDAH (PROSTRATION )

 

 

THE POWER OF SUJOOD..🤎

 

The harder you cry in Sujood, the happier you get.

 

Sujood is the best place to communicate with Allah.

 

Sometimes a single Sajdah heals all the pain.

 

Crying on Sujood is better than crying on someone's shoulder.

 

By putting your forehead on the ground, you're actually putting an end to your worries.

 

When you sit back up from Sujud after you’ve let it all out and that little feeling of relief with weight being lifted off.

 

The shortest distance between a problem and it's solution is the distance between your knees and Sujood.

 

In Sujood You whisper down the ground and it is heard up in the Heavens.

 

When the whole world is against you, only Sujood can do wonders in your life.

 

In this Duniyah, there is no greater pleasure than Sujood.

 

A Muslim In Sujud Is stronger than the King On his Throne.

 

May Allah respond to all our supplication and grant us success in both world.. اللّهمّ آمــــــــــين يارب 🤲🏿🥀❤

*💦When your tired and just can't go on,💦*

*💦When you feel defeated by the fleeing world💦*

 

*💦When nothing seems to be working out for you💦*

 

*💦When your heart is shattered in pain,💦*

 

*💦When we feel so let down by others,💦*

 

*🌟Then always know that for as long as we have Faith & Trust in Allah Subhanahu wa taala, He'll InShaAllah NEVER let us down.🌟*

𑁍 Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā was revealed when Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was depressed due to no revelation for 6 months.

 

This surah has the power to relieve depression and sadness and it restores peace and hope.

 

𝘐𝘧 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘢𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘩 ...

 

{ وَٱلضُّحَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 1]

 

𝙒𝙖𝙙 𝙙𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙖 — By the morning brightness

 

This is the first thing you need to hear when you’re depressed:

 

Wake up, look at the sunshine!

 

Everything in life is not doom and gloom
you just have to look up!

 

{ وَٱلَّیۡلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 2]

 

 

𝙒𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙖𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞 𝙞𝙯𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙟𝙖𝙖 — And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,

 

Why is this aayah immediately talking about darkness? As a reminder to us that the night is meant to cover and give us comfort and rest.

 

Generally when we’re depressed, we tend to get into a very bad sleep pattern by staying up at night and sleeping all day, thereby worsening our state of mind. This aayah reminds us to use the night as a comfort to ease our distress.

 

{ مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 3]

 

𝙈𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙙 𝙙𝙖'𝙖-𝙠𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙖 𝙬𝙖 𝙢𝙖 𝙦𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙖— Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].

 

This is a very powerful verse from Allah telling us that He doesn’t hate us and hasn’t forgotten us– reminding the depressed person that He is always by his or her side!

 

{ وَلَلۡـَٔاخِرَةُ خَیۡرࣱ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 4]

 

𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙡-𝙖'𝙖𝙠𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪 𝙠𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙡 𝙡𝙖𝙠𝙖 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙖— And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].

 

Many times when we’re depressed we think:
Is this all my life is going to be?

 

Is it never going to get better?

 

This aayah serves as a perfect answer to those questions, reminding us that life in this world is temporary and that Aakhira is certainly a better, more permanent place for us than this world could ever be.

 

This makes us look forward to attaining our place in Jannah and helps us look at any problems in our lives as temporary tests of our faith from Allah.

 

{ وَلَسَوۡفَ یُعۡطِیكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰۤ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 5]

 

𝙒𝙖 𝙡𝙖 𝙨𝙖𝙬𝙛𝙖 𝙮'𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙖 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙖 — And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.

 

A promise from Allah that very soon he will give us a massive reward (Jannah) and we will be happy! Subhanallah!

 

Isn’t this the best thing to hear when you’re depressed and fed up with this worldly life and the problems you’re facing?

 

{ أَلَمۡ یَجِدۡكَ یَتِیمࣰا فَـَٔاوَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 6]

 

𝘼'𝙡𝙖𝙢 𝙮𝙖 𝙟𝙞𝙙𝙠𝙖 𝙮𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙢'𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙖 𝙖'𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙖 – Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

 

From this verse onwards, Allah gives us reason to believe His declarations and promises in the first half of the surah.

 

Now many of us may think:

 

how would this aayah about orphans relate to the majority of us?

 

Think about it – weren’t there many times in your life when you were sick or lonely and felt like you had nobody who cared about you?

 

Who was the only one by your side at that time?
Allah! It was He who took care of you and guided you out of that stage in life.

 

{ وَوَجَدَكَ ضَاۤلࣰّا فَهَدَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 7]

 

𝙒𝙖-𝙬𝙖 𝙟𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙠𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙖𝙡'𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙖 — And He found you lost and guided [you].

 

How many of us, despite being born Muslims, have found ourselves misguided and straying away from Islam in the past? It was Allah who gave us that hidaya and brought us back to the straight path and to Him and made us practicing Muslims.

 

Alhamdulillah!

 

{ وَوَجَدَكَ عَاۤىِٕلࣰا فَأَغۡنَىٰ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 8]

 

𝙒𝙖-𝙬𝙖 𝙟𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙠𝙖 '𝙖𝙖-𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙖 𝙖𝙜𝙝𝙣𝙖𝙖 — And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.

 

Many of us have probably gone through many periods in our lives when we have been short of money and wealth.

 

Now when we look back we realize that it was only Allah who gave us that rizq in some form and got us through those tough financial times.

 

When a person is depressed, giving him or her examples of how Allah has helped them in the past will strengthen their conviction and belief in the promises Allah makes in this surah for their future.

 

{ فَأَمَّا ٱلۡیَتِیمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 9]

 

𝙁𝙖 𝙖𝙢'𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙮𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙖 𝙩𝙖𝙦𝙝𝙖𝙧 — So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].

 

This aayah is the ultimate antidote to depression!

 

Depressed people are mostly consumed with their situation and feel that nobody could possibly be in a worse situation.

 

This aayah reminds us to look at people who are in far worse situations than ourselves when we’re feeling hopeless and depressed,
Look at the orphans, who have no family or loved ones and nobody to care for them.

 

We have families and parents who love us, a roof over our heads and food on the table and we still think we’re in a bad situation? Subhanallah!

 

{ وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّاۤىِٕلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 10]

 

𝙒𝙖 𝙖𝙢'𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙖𝙖-𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙖 𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙧 — And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].

 

Another example is of the beggar,
to once again remind us of the many material blessings that Allah has given us that we take for granted, food, clothing and shelter.

 

How many of us have ever gone to sleep hungry?

 

How many of us don’t have clothes to wear? Or don’t have a home to go to?

 

These examples of the orphan and the beggar are ones we should constantly remind ourselves of to be thankful for the numerous blessings Allah has given us, get over our depression and feel connected to Allah again, out of gratitude.

 

{ وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ }

 

[Surah Aḍ-Ḍuḥā: 11]

 

𝙒𝙖 𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖 𝙗𝙞 𝙣𝙞𝙮'𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞 𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙠𝙖 𝙛𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙙'𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙝 – But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].

 

This final aayah is about maintaining that renewed faith and bond with Allah,
by pondering, glorifying and talking about the blessings of Allah!

 

Either in terms of halaqas, discussions with family and friends or even da’wah! Dhikr, reading quran and listening to lectures are also great ways to keep the remembrance of Allah close to your heart!

 

May The Almighty Allah Grant Us Peace In Our Lives 🙏
