NEGATIVE SLEEPING ๐Ÿ˜ด
-------------------------------------

As a mere human,, it is natural to feel tired and sleepy.. And the only way to feeling better is by sleeping.. But sadly, some of us sleeping at the wrong time๐Ÿ˜ณ. Yes.. One of them is sleeping after Fajr prayer.. Praying in subuh may be the hardest because it is in the early morning,, directly after waking up from a good night sleep.. We have to get up and go to the masjid,, parting with our warm bed and blanket๐Ÿ˜€. That is why going back to sleep can be very tempting after subuh prayer.. And sleeping this time is disliked on islaam.

Why

1⃣. The Best Time to Recieve A lot of Blessing is After Subuh

In one of the hadith,, Rasulullah prayed to Allah so that Allah blessed the morning time for his people:๐Ÿ‘‡

“O Allah, bless my people on their morning time.”

๐Ÿ“š( Abu Daud no. 2606, Ibnu Majah no. 2236 and Tirmizhi no. 1212)

๐Ÿ‘‰Ibnul Qayyim rahimullah, stated that one of the reasons that hold up the blessing and grace from Allah is sleeping in the morning.. He added:๐Ÿ‘‡

“Among things that makruh (forbidden but without punishment) according to the scholar is sleeping after subuh prayer until sunrise, because that time is the best time to reap the ghanimah (bountiful grace and blessing).”

2⃣. Sleeping in The Morning Enervate your body

Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah gave an analogy that morning is youth days and the end of the day is the old days.. If we slack and being lazy at our young time,, it will affect our old time,, which we will also be slacking and lazing.. Even more,, sleeping after subuh prayer will hinder us and make us lazy to do productive activities and spend our time for nothing that day (in most cases).

3⃣. One of The Things that Salafush-Saalih Dislike is Sleeping in The Morning:

Because morning is the perfect time to reap  bountiful grace and blessing,, so it’s advised to spend our time after subuh prayer for productive and beneficial activities.

Furthermore,, morning is the time when Allah give his blessing and Rizq,, doing Powerful Dua for Rizq can be a good way to start your day.

4⃣. Time for Doing Something Worthwhile

Instead of sleeping,, we can spend our time to dhikr, dua, study, doing sports, and there is a lot of things better.

5⃣ Weekend creatures (from man and jinn) spiritually attack their clients who escaped the night attack๐Ÿ˜ณ.. Yes.. That's why most horrible dreams are experienced in morning sleep๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿป

Sunan an-Nasa'i 1358 Graded saheeh

The practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and his Companions after praying Fajr was to remain sitting in the place where they had prayed until the sun rose, as is reported in Saheeh Muslim (1/463) in the hadeeth of Sammaak ibn Harb, who said: “I asked Jaabir ibn Samurah,, ‘Did you used to sit with the Messenger of Allaah❓’ He said, ‘Yes,, frequently. He would not get up from the place where he had prayed Subh until the sun rose. When the sun rose, he would get up.. They used to talk about things that had happened during the Jaahiliyyah, and they would laugh and smile

๐Ÿ‘‰ Salaf disliked the idea of sleeping after Fajr.

Ibn Abi Shaybah reported in his Musannaf (5/222, no. 25442) with a saheeh isnaad from ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr that he said: “Al-Zubayr used to forbid his children to sleep in the morning.” ‘Urwah said: “I do not hear of any man who sleeps in the morning, but I lose interest in that person.”

In summary then,, people should make the most of this time which can bring many benefits in this world and in the Hereafter,, but if a person sleeps at this time to gain strength to do his work,, there is nothing wrong with this, especially if one did not make it a habit.. And if it is not going to be easy for him to sleep at any other time of the day.

Allah Alone Knows Best.
