**Fifteen Surahs That Begin with an Oath: **
1. **Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51) **
وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا
*"By the winds that scatter dust,"*
(Qur'an 51:1)
2. **Surah At-Tur (52) **
وَالطُّورِ
*"By the Mount,"* (Qur'an 52:1)
3. **Surah An-Najm (53) **
وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
*"By the star when it descends,"*
(Qur'an 53:1)
4. **Surah Al-Mursalat (77) **
وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا
*"By the winds sent forth in succession,"*
(Qur'an 77:1)
5. **Surah An-Nazi’at (79) **
وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقًا
*"By those [angels] who extract with violence,"*
