AFTER RUKOO ,SAY THIS TO MAKE THE ANGEL RACE

 

After Rukoo, say this to make the Angels race!

 

وَعَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُصَلِّي وَرَاءَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ قَالَ: «سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ» . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ وَرَاءَهُ: رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ: «مَنِ الْمُتَكَلِّمُ آنِفًا؟» قَالَ: أَنَا. قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ بِضْعَةً وَثَلَاثِينَ مَلَكًا يَبْتَدِرُونَهَا أَيُّهُمْ يَكْتُبهَا أول 

 

رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ

 

One day we were praying behind the Messenger of Allah and when he ﷺ raised his head from the position of ruku` (bowing position), he said:

“Sami Allahu leman hamidah” – ‘Allah hears the one who praises Him’.

 

A man from behind added: رَبَّنـا وَلَكَ الحَمْـدُ حَمْـداً كَثـيراً طَيِّـباً مُـبارَكاً فيه “

 

Rabbanaa wa lakal hamd, hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh”

 

‘Our Lord, all Praise is due only to You, Praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed.

 

’When we finished [the prayer] the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Who spoke?’ The man said, ‘I did’.

 

The Prophet ﷺ said:

 

‘Indeed, I saw over 30 Angels scuffling/competing to see which one of them could record it first.’

 

[Sahih Bukhari, 1.764,]

 

SubhanAllah! memorize it, use it straight after you say "sami Allahu leman hamidah" and make the angels race! And if you already know it, remember to use it as much as you can in salah!

 

Don't forget to teach the children in shaa Allah!
