_*SAFE GUARD YOUR GOOD DEEDS *_

Hadeeth of bankruptcy

The prophet Muhammad SAWS said:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The poor of my Umma would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire.

Saheeh Muslim 2581

A person may pray with Khushoo _(concentration and fear of *Âllåh (ﷻ)*_ and end up with *Zėro* rewards on the Đay of Judgment...

A person could give half his wealth in charity yet end up with *Zėro* rewards on the Đay of Judgment...

And you could be Fasting during a very hot day and standing in Prayer at night, yet still end up with

ZERO rewards on the day of judgment .....

*HOW CAN THIS BE POSSIBLE, YOU MAY ASK... ?!!!*

Åbdullah Bin Mubarak *رَحْمَـةُ اللّه* said:

"i said to Sufyan Al-Thauri: *رَحِمَـهُ اللّه*

"Abu Hanifa *رَحْمَـةُ اللّه* never backbites backbites thė people, I have never seen him backbite even his enemies" and Sufyan *رَحِمَـهُ اللّه* replied:

"By Allah he *(Abu-Hanifa)* is wiser than to allow his good Đeeds to be destroyed by backbiting."

Al-Shirazi *رَحِمَـهُ اللّه* said:

"My Father and I were awake at night *(in worship) * while other people slept and I said:

"Why don't these people get up and pray two units of Salaah! and My Father replied: *"My Son it would be better for you to sleep than to backbite thė People"*

Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali *رَحِمَـهُ اللّه* said:

_"Backbiting is thė missile that destroys good deeds, and the one who back bites is like a person who makes a catapult, then uses it to throw away his good deeds left and right."_

Umar Bn Abdul-Aziz * رَحْمَـةُ اللّه عَــلَيْه* said:

"We lived with The Salaf *(Pious Predecessors) * and they all considered fasting and praying a lesser form of worship than abstaining from backbiting...

A person who stands in prayer at Night and fasts during thė Đay, if he does not hold his tongue *(from back biting), * he will be resurrected *(Đėstitute)* without a single good deed on thė Đay of Judgment. *(So awake and take heed and repent to your Lord, * *Âllåh (ﷻ)*

I remind myself and my loved ones lest we lose our *Good Deeds...*

*Oh, My Mėrciful Råbb...* Grånt Us Åbility To Refrain From Backbiting And Forgive All Our Sins...!
