{ فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ }[Surah Al-Balad: 11]

 

 

Fa laa * Iqtahamaa * Al- * Aqabah. *

 

{ فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ }

 

[Surah Al-Balad: 11]

 

But he has not broken through the difficult pass.

 

* WHAT IS AQABAH? *

 

The difficult mountain passes?

 

Allah is saying that you will never understand what al-'Aqabah is.

 

* Iqtahamaa *  is when two wrestlers slam into each other with full power, at full force.

 

So, Allah is giving us a clue.

 

* There's Al-'Aqabah, the mountain pass; and you have to iqtahamaa, climb it at full force without holding back. *

 

_If you've ever had to climb tons and tons of stairs, you know that to make it to the top, you need to gather your strength and rush, all at once. . You don't climb stairs one by one and stop every few steps. _

 

* That’s iqtahamaa. *

 

So, we need to do iqtahamaa of Al-'Aqabah. And we'll never understand Al-'Aqabah.

 

 فَلَا ٱقۡتَحَمَ ٱلۡعَقَبَةَ (11) وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡعَقَبَةُ (12) فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍ (13) أَوۡ إِطۡعَـٰمࣱ فِی یَوۡمࣲ ذِی مَسۡغَبَةࣲ (14) یَتِیمࣰا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ (15) أَوۡ مِسۡكِینࣰا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةࣲ (16) 

 

[Surah Al-Balad: 11-16]

 

📕 * "And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass? *

 

🌷 It is the freeing of a slave, Or

 

🌷feeding on a day of severe hunger, An orphan of near relationship, Or a needy person in misery."

 

90:12-16
