عليهم ثياب خضر من سندس (حرير رقيق) واستبرق (حرير سميك) وحُلّوا أساور من فضة، وسقاهم ربهم شرابًا طهورًا

يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَارِي سَوْآتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
- **English Translation:**
*"O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness—that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember."*

يا بني آدم، أنزلنا عليكم لباسًا يستر عوراتكم ويزينكم، ولكن لباس التقوى (الخوف من الله) خيرٌ منه، ذلك من آيات الله لعلهم يتعظون

*"O children of Adam, We have granted you clothing to cover your private parts and for beauty, but the garment of Taqwa (piety) is superior. This is among Allah’s signs so that they may take heed."*

3. **الحرير (Al-Hareer – Silk)**

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ

*"Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk."*

يدخل الله المؤمنين والعاملين الصالحات جنات تجري تحتها الأنهار ويُحَلَّون بأساور من ذهب ولؤلؤ، ولباسهم فيها حرير

أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۚ نِعْمَ الثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا
- **English Translation:**
*"For them will be the Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place!"*

لهم جنات عدن تجري من تحتها الأنهار، ويحلون بأساور من ذهب ويلبسون ثيابًا خضرًا من سندس (حرير رقيق) واستبرق (حرير سميك)، متكئين على الأرائك

*"They will have eternal gardens with flowing rivers, adorned with gold bracelets and dressed in green garments of Sundus (fine silk) and Istabraq (thick silk), reclining on luxurious couches."*

وَجَاءُوا عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ ۚ قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا ۖ فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ ۖ وَاللَّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
- **English Translation:**
*"And they brought his shirt stained with false blood. [Jacob] said, 'Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe.'"*

وأتوا بقميص يوسف ملطخًا بدم كذب (لم يكن دم يوسف)، فقال يعقوب: بل زينت لكم أنفسكم أمرًا (كذبتم)، فالصبر الجميل (الصبر بلا شكوى) هو المطلوب، والله المستعان على ما تزعمون
- **Tafseer in English:**
*"They brought Yusuf’s shirt stained with false blood (not his blood). Ya’qub (Jacob) said, 'Rather, your souls have tempted you to deceit. Beautiful patience (patience without complaint) is needed, and Allah is the One whose help is sought against your claims.'"*

6. **الجلابيب (Al-Jalabib – Outer Garments)**

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا
- **English Translation:**
*"O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their cloaks (Jalabib) over themselves. That is more suitable so that they may be recognized and not harassed. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful."*

يا أيها النبي، قل للمؤمنات أن يرخين عليهن جلابيبهن (أغطية فضفاضة) ليتميزن بالعفة فلا يتعرض لهن أحد بالأذى. والله غفور رحيم

*"O Prophet, instruct the believing women to draw their outer garments (Jalabib) over themselves so they may be recognized as chaste women and not harassed. Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."*
