༺ STRONG FAITH FOR WEAKENING TIMES ༻

𝙎𝘾𝘼𝙍𝙔 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔…

༼  GROUND YOURSELF IN DEEN BEFORE THE WORLD SHAKES YOU  ༽

➖➖➖

We live in a time when technology can bring the entire world into our homes.

A child may be sitting in the next room, yet speaking privately with someone thousands of miles away.

A parent may be sleeping peacefully, unaware of what is happening through a child's phone.

A mother may be standing in Tahajjud, while her daughter is secretly engaging in inappropriate conversations online.

A husband may be lying beside his wife while secretly viewing sinful content on his phone.

A wife may be at home while communicating privately with people she has no need to communicate with.

📱 The Danger Is Now in Our Hands

The greatest concern is not simply social media itself.

The concern is what happens when unrestricted access to the internet meets weak īmān, poor boundaries, and a lack of accountability before Allah ﷻ.

Even when parents are physically close to their children, they cannot see everything happening behind a screen.

That is why supervision alone is not enough.

🕌 Build the Heart Before the World Tests It

Allah ﷻ says:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا

“O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire…”

[At-Taḥrīm 66:6]

Parents must therefore do more than simply tell their children what they cannot do.

They must teach them why they should obey Allah ﷻ.

Teach them that Allah sees them when nobody else does.

🌿 Teach them Modesty.

🕌 Teach them Salaāh.

🌸 Teach them Hayaā’

⚠️ Teach them the Danger of Private Sins.

Teach them that being alone with a phone does not mean being alone from Allah.

🤲 Strong Faith Is the Foundation

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock.”

[Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 7138; Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1829]

Parents have a responsibility to guide, teach, protect, and set good examples.

But ultimately, every individual must develop a relationship with Allah ﷻ that continues even when nobody is watching.

🌿 A Final Reminder

We cannot completely remove every temptation from the world.

But we can raise children who know how to recognize temptation, resist it, and return to Allah when they fall.

Give your children a strong Islamic foundation.

Teach them ʿAqeedah, ṣalāah, Qur’an, ḥayaā’, good character, and the fear and love of Allah ﷻ.

Monitor what they access—but do not depend on monitoring alone.

Build the heart.

Because when a child understands that Allah ﷻ is always watching, they will have a reason to say “No” even when nobody else is there.

May Allah ﷻ protect our families, preserve the īmān of our children, shield them from the fitnah of our times, and make our homes places of Qur’an, ṣalāh, ḥayā’, and righteousness.

آمِينَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
