ما حكم صلاة هؤلاء؟

س 210 : كثير من الناس يصلون بثياب خفيفة تصف البشرة ويلبسون تحت هذه الثياب سراويل قصيرة لا تتجاوز منتصف الفخذ فيشاهد منتصف الفخذ من وراء الثوب، فما حكم صلاة هؤلاء؟

الجواب: حكم صلاة هؤلاء حكم من صلى بغير ثوب سوى السراويل القصيرة، لأن الثياب الشفافة التي تصف البشرة غير ساترة ووجودها كعدمها، وبناء على ذلك فإن صلاتهم غير صحيحة على أصح قولي العلماء وهو المشهور من مذهب الأمام أحمد –رحمه الله- وذلك لأنه يجب على المصلي من الرجال أن يستر ما بين السرة والركبة وهذا أدنى ما يحصل به امتثال قول الله –عز وجل-: (يَا بَنِي آدَمَ خُذُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ) (الأعراف: من الآية31) فالواجب عليهم أحد أمرين: إما أن يلبسوا سراويل تستر ما بين السرة والركبة، وإما أن يلبسوا فوق هذه السراويل القصيرة ثوباً صفيقاً لا يصف البشرة .

وهذا الفعل الذي ذكر في السؤال خطأ وخطير فعليهم أن يتوبوا إلى الله تعالى منه، وأن يحرصوا على إكمال ستر ما يجب ستره في صلاتهم . نسأل الله تعالى لنا ولإخواننا المسلمين الهداية والتوفيق لما يحبه ويرضاه إنه جواد كريم .

Q. 210. Many people pray in thin garments that show the skin, and under the garment, they wear short pants which do not cover more than the middle of the thigh, leaving half the thigh visible under the garment. What is the ruling on their prayer ?

A. The ruling on their prayer is that of a person who prayed without a garment except short pants. Because their garments are transparent enough to reveal the skin, and do not cover it. Wearing such garments is the same as not wearing them. Based upon this, their prayer is not valid, according to the more authoritative of two opinions held by the scholars, and it is what is well known from the Maktab of Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy on him. This is because it is obligation for the male worshiper to cover what is between the navel and the knees, and that is the minimum necessary for compliance with the Words of Allah, the Almighty, the All-Powerful:

“O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes) while praying.” [1]

So, one of two things is incumbent upon them: Either to wear pants which cover what is between the navel and the knees, or to wear a thick garment that does not reveal the skin over these short pants.

This action which was mentioned in the question is a mistake, and it is dangerous, so it is incumbent upon them to repent of it to Allah, the Most High and to take care of completely cover what it is obligatory to cover in their prayers. We ask Allah, the Most High that He guide us and our Muslims brothers ad grant us success in attaining that which He loves and which pleases Him. Verily, He is Most Generous, Most Kind.
