STRIVE TO EARN THE LOVE OF THE ALMIGHTY 🤍

Strive to earn the love of The Almighty 🤍

"A friend cannot (literally) share your struggles, a loved one cannot physically take away your pain and a close one cannot stay up the night on your behalf.”

So, make an intention to purposefully look after yourself, protect yourself, nurture yourself and love yourself, for yourself and by extension those around you. Don’t give life's events more of your energy, time and emotions than what they are really worth.

Know for certain that there are going to inevitably be times during this bittersweet journey called life when you will feel broken, wounded or even defeated. During these low moments is when your inner dialogue needs to repeatedly affirm with hope, confidence and conviction, that no one can fully heal you except The Almighty through your inner strength, determination and resilience. It may take some time but know that for you to rise again and carry on is your responsibility. Don’t rush the process, take as long as you need to until you feel ready enough to take flight to eventually soar.

Do not ever make the mistake to look for your self worth in the eyes of people; instead look for your value from within and you will see just how precious of a gift you are to the world! If your conscience is at peace, then you already have the ability and drive to reach great heights and if you truly know and accept yourself, then what is said about you should not negatively affect or harm you or even deter you from the life and goals you wish to achieve.

“Do not carry the worries of this life because that is for The Almighty. Do not carry the worries of sustenance because it is from The Almighty. And do not carry anxiety for the future because it is in the hands of The Almighty.”

[gems of wisdom from Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim]

Do, however, carry one thing: how to please your Creator… because if and when you please Him, He in turn pleases you, fulfils you and enriches you through means and from sources you may never expect.

Do not weep or be broken from a life that made your heart weep. Instead say, "Oh Allah, compensate me with goodness in this life and in the hereafter." As long as you are still breathing, you have the potential to bring about desired changes to your life so do not despair!

Sadness departs with a Sajdah (a humble prostration to Your Creator) while happiness comes with a sincere Du'aa (prayer) and hope that the outcome that He knows is best for you will occur.

Let your heart be at ease knowing that Allah The Almighty does not forget any good that you do, even if no one else acknowledges your good actions. He never forgets the pain or burdens you may have relieved others from nor does He forget when you aided the ones whose eyes were about to cry but instead, you made them laugh or atleast smile. Your efforts are never in vain and your rewards are guaranteed! So merciful is our Rabb, our Allah!

Live your life with this selfless principle: Be good and kind even if you don't receive goodness and kindness from others and even if you do not feel pleased with your current circumstances, not for the sake of anyone else but simply because The Lord of the worlds loves goodness and those who do good." ✨
